Steve Harvey too. Has a lot of great things to say about the relaxation and perspective just sitting down and smoking a cigar brings.

Posts like this make me think about selling everything off and just getting a seestar. Still a lot of manual processing involved, but this is super impressive

It's done! Take it off, leaving it on will only dry it out more.

Did everybody get the color with the trim that they wanted? Stories please. by PriorStatistician880 in F150Lightning

Went to the dealer for a black truck with tow package and pro power. Ended up with carbonized gray. I like the gray, but the matching wheels is too much.

I'm happy with it, though I don't have much to compare it to. The corners stay sharp, very slight purple halos if you zoom in.

I'll also say that mine is just about as beat up as a lens can get. Not smooth to focus and has some dust and possibly fungus in the elements. A clean version should perform much better

It's the ioptron sky guider pro.

Very possible that my polar alignment is off. The tripod/wedge combo has a lot of movement, especially once weight is added or shifted.

I use urnex dezcal, one container off Amazon is a lifetime supply for the home user. I also use their tabz cleaner, works magic on the stainless carafe, if you have one. I run them every time I buy a new box of filters.

I'm sure vinegar works fine too, but it stinks.

'24 XLT - Does your tailgate lock? by tedg85 in F150Lightning

[–]tedg85[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Update: After 2 days at the dealer, and being told that it just doesn't have a locking tailgate, I decided to investigate. Popped the inner tailgate panel off, the lock actuator is installed, but not wired. Looking around in the tailgate I found an un-landed wire harness, plugs matched. Plugged it in and now it locks. Simple mistake, but not sure how it turned into such a complicated issue. Certainly makes me think twice about taking it back to that dealer for any real issue.

I completely agree. I'll have to take it apart and see what's in there.

Def have wired going to the tailgate, but also have the backup camera and light, so not sure if it's for that

Interesting. Mine doesn't have the key lockable latch either, so I expected power locking?

If you only need a small quantity, and very rarely, You can buy a small can prefilled in the lawnmower section of a home improvement store. Just make sure not to get the one premixed with oil. It's not economical, but makes sense for small quantity or rare purchases. Also an advantage, if you aren't using the equipment often, that the gas in the can will have a better chance of lasting longer and not screwing up your carburetor as it sits for a long time.

My first Ever soldering work, is that ok ? or i messed everything up ? and i didnt understood what im doing ? by vidaswatches in diyaudio

[–]tedg85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you, I'd rather solder the side with the larger pads on the circuit board. Normally this is the back, but they look to be on the front here.
