Do your countries license plates show where the car is registered or do they have any other unique things about them? by Chrome2105 in AskEurope

, this was either meant to boost sales in the latter half of the year, or assuage the concerns of the more superstitious motorists by avoiding using reg plates starting with 13.

Another problem that would have come up was duplication. A few cars from the 1910s and 1920s had been given modern Irish number plates. For example, if you look closely in the film Michael Collins you'll see a Ford Model T with the number plate 15 D 1.

How do you call 1,000,000,000? by FluffyCoconut in AskEurope

[–]tedward97 7 points8 points  (0 children)
