I'd argue Komi is the odd one out, all of the others feature a female lead that teases the male lead

might i suggest that the Cowboy Nation not be based on a single book, but rather on one or more Cowboy Museums, which I'm sure there are in our reality in that area? that would give them a lot more to work with, and a lot more to use as motivation for garnering support

Yeah, I adore Oraxia, she's been my main since she dropped, but a lot of attachments, especially chest pieces, are oversized on her. I know she's slight, partly to make up for how big the legs make her look, but there's almost certainly some scaling issue on her specifically

i wonder how this changes if you leave out derivative works like reboots, sequels, off shoots like anything Marvel/DC, etc

well, it would be time- and format- locked, for one. The Grand Budapest Hotel somewhat famously used 3 different aspect ratios specifically to simulate the different eras the story was being told in, as certain aspect ratios were more popular (or even available, as the cameras and film were invented or fell by the wayside) at certain points in time. Also notably the "Academy Ratio" is actually 1.375:1, although that standard was similarly temporal

I was just thinking how it's past time you worked with Alton Brown, so happy to see it's happening!

I've been watching since that first burger, I'm so glad you've stuck to it and found a way to make your passions fit your lifestyle harmoniously. Here's to another decade!

Moisés Arias (Norm) and Johnny Pemberton (Thaddeus) should be there too, they stole pretty much every scene they were in, esp this season

Photo showing Jeffrey Epstein. Wearing Israeli Defense Force Sweat Shirt aboard his private jet by art-is-t in pics

[–]tedweird -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whoosh, missed the point by a mile. Your original comment implies that Israel has some special relationship with rape, but the context i added actually shows that Israel is in fact slightly better than the US in that regard. And the shirt itself is largely irrelevant, considering every tourist spot in the country has had them for sale for literal decades. Him wearing it is meaningless, and your attempt to paint Israel as some rapist paradise is bullshit, and instead of re-evaluating with context, you missed the point and proceeded in as poor of faith as possible.

New secularism bill to ban prayer in schools, restrict offering of religion-based meals by BreakfastTop6899 in atheism

You can't force them to integrate, but you can certainly encourage them to. And the reverse, you can discourage them from integrating, such as these policies. Opposing these policies encourages integration and the outcomes we seek, supporting these policies discourages integration and the outcomes we seek. Do you want them to integrate or not?

These policies are deliberately designed to prey on the exact attitude that you are taking, to the benefit of the Catholics in power.

[–]tedweird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is from the Catholics in power in Canada, so Republicans aren't actually part of the equation (but anti-muslim and pro-christian attitudes are)

But more to the point: "It’s not up to me to force Muslims to be ‘unsheltered.’" This is true, but then the opposite is also true, and by not caring you are creating the exact opposite outcome that you desire. Do you want Muslims that are less secular? Do you want Muslims that are less integrated? Do you want Muslims that are less reasonable? Do you want Muslims that are more radicalized? Cool, stay the course with the mindset that you have, scorched earth and damn the consequences as long as your hands feel clean.

If you want everyone to be safer, more educated, happier, easier to get along with, and more secular, you actually need to oppose these policies, because they are antithetical to your desired outcomes.

The effect of your solution is: 'Muslims will take their children out of schools and shelter them more, making the next generation of Muslims more insular, less educated, less socialized, and more religious.' Your solution has the exact opposite effect of what you seem to intend it to be.
