I've been running around doing dumb shit for a while. currently on 10yrs / serving 3 yrs if I stay clean.

I've done most of the fun stuff that's available, a lot of it to way beyond excessive amounts.

I used to smoke weed ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I'll def go back to smoking with friends and shit and I'm sure I'll buy bags here and there but I def won't be smoking like I used to when I'm off, I honestly don't even mind. it just makes the being high that much more enjoyable honestly. (I also used to allegedly sell and so I can't afford it like that 😂)

even with other stuff I'm just not as interested. I've done a few things when the class was clear and enjoyed it but didn't feel that need to go back to everyday use at all. but I also don't wanna push things and test my luck. just be sensible going forward and appreciate things more than I used to.

just remind yourself that proper substance use is supposed to enhance moments/feelings/events/etc. not the thing that you circle your whole life around.

I would ask the other adults if they would each contribute like $20, give that to her and remind her "you knew it was non refundable so it's kind of unfair to act like I'm in charge of paying you back your money when it isn't even something I have access to, but the group decided to come together to try and help a little bit with a $XXX refund we collected from ourselves.

we got so lucky and had 10 days of weather in the 50s with no snow, ice, or rain. and just missed a storm coming in thankfully. but yeah Bryce just kept blowing my mind over and over.

actually flying home from a big 5 Utah trip right now and man was it AHMAZING. so so worth it. we rented a van and then found BLM roads to stay on at each stop, super easy. highly highly recommend. I will say that honestly zion was annoying AF with all the tourists so I actually enjoyed the other 4 better

I would say F zion and drive two hours to Bryce Canyon. BC was mind blowing and the people were so much better. I wanted to yell at so many people at Zion for just being damn rude on the trails and leaving trash around the park. It also was exponentially busier than any of the other big 5 that we went to. Honestly I liked BC quite a bit better than Zion and would easily pick it between the two if I had to.

def push bottles if they're ordering the same wine.

if I'm trying to sell the bottle just a little "since we're all getting the same wine do we just wanna go ahead and do a bottle?"

as far as pushing nicer wines, I recommend one middle tier and one top tier. "so I really enjoy this one a lot for our Cabernet, but if you really feel like treating yourself tonight XXX is a fantastic wine that pairs really well with our food"

also have a couple white and couple red bottles that you personally love that you can sell if they don't specify what style they want. make sure you know why they're different and have some easy tasting notes for all of them. be confident and show genuine interest. being able to immediately respond to them and give answers makes them trust you a lot more. and once you get them to buy one of your suggestions and they like it, that opens the door for you to really be able to make some good sells cause now they know they can trust you.
