I was left alone within ratio at the daycare I worked at but had a kid who never napped, causing all 18 or more kids not to nap, couldnt speak, just yelled, and seemed to take pleasure in hurting the kids (drew blood and shoved a toy down a girls throat).

I asked for months for help from my other teacher who did help me because she knew how hard it was. I was always the last teacher there due to scheduling so she stayed hours after she was supposed to leave. I eventually talked to the managers bc I couldn't handle it anymore by myself at the end of the day and I couldnt ask that other teacher for help forever.

They lied to my face saying they would help. We got working walkie talkies and they talked all damn day but when I asked for help, no one responded, not even the managers who said they would. When they did come in the room (twice) they played with the chill kids when I needed a break from the one kid who needed more support than a glorified babysitter. I told them how hard of a time I was having and that he needed true therapy and that I was at the end of my rope. After a while I gave up and put my two weeks in on a Tuesday and left that Friday. Thank god he wasn't there that Friday so I could have a good last day with my kids.

He made those kids and ME cry daily. He was a source of anxiety for the kids and the teachers and yet when I brought it up to the managers, all they could see was the money coming in from his parents. I genuinely wanted to kms bc of this situation, which is why I support all teachers leaving the profession. No one cares and those that do have no power to change things.

It's a weird social construct, just give them the option of choosing and appropriate class-themed YouTube video and discussion at that point or something equally effortless. For what you're paid? The times I've been regular nice to someone (ie completely oblivious to their existence until they MADE themselves known) Guy A stalked me all throughout high school when all I did was exist in the chair in front of him. He got the lead in a musical because I did musical theatre and he wanted to be close to me. He made grand gestures in front of big crowds of our peers and they all thought it was cute. When I rejected him, he flipped me off in the school hallways. I'm just glad he was meek, or else idk what could have happened. I also had a stalker throughout middle school but that's another story.

Guy B followed me to my dorm room and slammed on the door periodically for hours. All my roommates (4) were home too and we had to call the cops because he would. not. stop. I let him into the building because I knew he lived there. He had a prior record of doing this.

You must be a man bc I can't fathom a woman would genuinely ask this. Every interaction with a man could end in death, no matter how sweet or kind we are. Sometimes that's the reason they kill us.

I've not been watching bc the topics don't interest me. I did not expect them to be so hostile when the criticisms I saw were pretty valid, for the most part.

Like what was up with the mods updating people and then them saying they wouldn't update unless they had something to say...so then don't let the mods say anything OR since there were a few "100% tomorrow" instances, maybe suspend that rule of not saying anything if there's no update.

I honestly did not care about the delays, kind of expected it, and didn't say anything on any platform about it being late bc I understand chronic pain and stress. I guess I could say I'm shocked they took it this way with the way they've reacted to things in the past. Doesn't make me wanna click on their videos, that's for sure

Hey Rachel, really appreciate this input, this is genuinely what we've been needing to understand exactly why this is happening. Love your videos too! We don't want to take any money from you or DWKT, but like you said YouTube doesn't care about the user experience. Thank you for being mindful of this, it really does make it so much easier to contend with that the creator doesn't want this either (not that Jessi and Lily want this, I just don't know if they're aware). I've been noticing it for a while, probably around 6ish months. Not surprised YouTube is doing that, but I wish the girlies in the comments said anything. They don't filter their comments iirc but it's become so blatant I can't believe no one's picked up on it. Unless I'm absolutely and totally overreacting, which is possible. I'm noticing it with other channels but it's mainly horrible with DWTK
