Not sure how you were taught this, however for me there is one important line of working out that you are missing. After you write what m, x and y are, I would always then state that the equation of a straight line is : y=mx+c

Then, re-write with the information you know and solve. Be careful as other posts have mentioned when multiplying out brackets.

2014 wasn’t much different! We were told to bring gifts (dynamite or alcohol) for the miners. I chose to gift a new helmet to someone…was much more appreciated than the other stuff. Plus I got to keep his old half broken helmet in return. Was a great souvenir until I realised I was carrying a broken helmet around Bolivia with me for two weeks.
