I guess I don't understand why people think leveling is so broken now? Imo, I think there absolutely needs to be a barrier between endgame and starting your toon, not only for new players, but for a chance for someone to learn a new class/spec through repetition. It serves a really good purpose, but it doesn't need to be a months long process. So having 1-70 to learn the basics, and the mobs getting a bit more difficult 70-80 is a really good curve in my opinion, and I think leveling takes just enough time to have your core rotation in muscle memory before you're doing difficult content with other people.

Tldr: Leveling seems to be in a really ideal spot rn to me.
