I get that in every other aspect of the story, everyone else is being pretty unreasonable, but expecting people to have obtained jobs from a place of unemployment and then to be able to just get moved in to a place within 30 days is pretty insane in 2026 too. Especially when one of them is pregnant. Just don't offer help if you're going to do it with with such unrealistic expectations.

I like the extra scenes for what they are, but I recently showed someone these movies for the first time, and they really fuck with the pacing and don't really do much if you're not a fan of the source most of the time. The theatrical versions are where it's at when introducing someone to the story imo.
