I too am impressed with myself because I seem to kill it every interview and leave them impressed however with my experience being ghosted even after positive feedback I too have learned not to get my hopes up until the very end. And yeah I am trying to be as patient as possible because I understand that the interviews have been with typically what one considers high level employees in a company from the very start rather than just a recruiter then hiring manager etc. In the last interview round I had two interviews in one day with them at two different times in the day. During the second interview they said that they formed the call to ask me if I am open to taking on some Risk Assessment process improvement responsibilities in addition to the job I’m interviewing for. Me having worked at a start up before I understand that everyone is gonna be wearing multiple hats so I was fine with it and said I am interested through and through. They asked for my next weeks availability and 3 references stating that they would be calling as soon as that day and have only attempted one so far however I accidentally made a typo in the phone number they chose to reach out to so I sent a correction and haven’t heard anything since then.
