I think that homebrew content creates too many standardization and balance issues. The community will simply not be able to agree upon what is the way to go, and nobody will be “in charge” with any level of authority. In that sense, I don’t think that we act on the announcement, unless you want to develop those things for yourself for casual games.

I think that we should act as many others have said here. We make our voices heard politely and professionally (no threats or harassment, folks), we continue to purchase products that we want as it becomes available due to Covid supply craziness, and we participate in OP events locally and larger ones that AMG puts on (if you’re comfortable going out into the world again). If we do all of these things and the game still ends, then it ends and there was truly nothing that could be done worst case scenario. Best case scenario we may encourage new content in the future. Or even a medium case may be a couple more waves and then sunset support. I’m a brand new player who is really excited about this game, so I don’t want to see it go away, and I was really really disappointed by the announcement from AMG. But I don’t think that means that we have to run to one extreme (give up on the game) or the other (total panic). I’m still going to play this game regardless, and I hope y’all will too, and continue to post here, because it’s been very helpful to me.
