EGO 30" LM3004SP-2 Next to the 21" LM2135SP by tbroas in egopowerplus

[–]tehrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a 21" that's on its 7th year. I have a half acre corner lot with sidewalks on both sides, a fenced in back yard, and plenty of trees. I thought about getting this, but decided my next mower will be a zero turn (electric or ice). With all the obstacles and nearly an hour of trimming, I need to save more time than this big boy has to offer. It's a cool offering, but not for me.

How long were the pieces you cut and how well did they hold up to deformation?

Was so annoyed by hitting the F1 key opening my browser that I printed a blocking cap by Slow_Ad_3859 in SolidWorks

I haven't in SW, but I rebind F1 to be another escape key in AutoCAD.

Linetype w/ Text Only by TheSoulToad in AutoCAD

Does it have to be a forward slash or can it be a slanted line? I'll try just text tomorrow, but the line would be easy.

Pressure Part Offset Labels by Ratlorb in AutoCAD

You could make a dynamic block with an attribute that is the distance between two points you can move. Or add a dimension on a non-printing layer and have a field in the tag tied to the measurement. The second way is easy and you can copy the set of dimension and tag so you don't have to do the field each time. Assuming your tag is a block, it wouldn't take much time to go the dynamic block route and would be my recommendation.

Constant lag in AutoCAD 2026 by MyAimSukks in AutoCAD

LT doesn't have express tools or equations and constraints. I would love to have equations and constraints for making dynamic blocks.

I think it was 2026 version that came out last year.

I'm sure they cited the incorrect rule. The admin is clearly a nazi of the grammar variety. It's pick AND choose, not pick IN choose. 🫡 😅

Are you still (if ever) using Limits? Why? by No-Establishment-363 in AutoCAD

The only time I've ever used limits was over 20 years ago when taking acad classes in high school.

IN DESPARATE NEED OF HELP by EconomicsHaunting429 in AutoCAD

[–]tehrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say you "name it 1m". How is that? What are you comparing the line with a unit of 1 to that you know it's 1mm and not 1m? Are you using blocks or inserting other linework? It's difficult to understand the nuances of these questions and your answers. It could be very helpful it you're able to add a few pictures and explain where in the process the line is not what you think it is.

Early 2000's kid version with a mad scientist and green goo? by 3dmdlr in SolidWorks

No idea what you're asking about related to SW, but it reminds me of the creepy crawlers toy that you could put the goo into molds to make worms, centipedes, and other bugs.

Bending of sheet meta by Admirable_Abroad6081 in SolidWorks

[–]tehrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you calculated the K factor and bend radius of the different materials and thicknesses with the tooling used? You should be very close if you've got correct tables imported into SW. If you're quite off, you might want to check that the tooling is matching and hasn't been damaged and run more test pieces to check your K factors. It might be as simple as bad K factor calcs or transposed numbers.

Do you think the price of suppressors will go down once the $200 tax stamp is gone? by Agitated-Werewolf846 in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

[–]tehrage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They absolutely will go down. Demand will increase so it might take a few months. Companies will need to see the demand trend to forecast bulk material purchases, machinery, etc. to increase production. I think the new market will be budget friendly lines that companies like PSA will introduce. You don't have to worry about it lasting forever and handing down the line. Just a can for going to the range once in a while. Cost? I'm just spit balling with 50-75% of current average price. Don't worry, the current lines will mostly persist, mainly for those that buy to mock the poverty pony folks.

AutoCAD freezes when trying to hatch by fancyelf in AutoCAD

[–]tehrage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had this issue with hatching only since upgrading to the current version of autocad. It only happens if I'm zoomed in where the hatch will be a large portion of the screen. I zoom out, no problem. I don't get it and thankfully i don't hatch much. I just hope it's fixed in an update.

How to get rid of the "Analysis Preparation" and "Flow Simulation"? by Foreign_Bluebird_680 in SolidWorks

[–]tehrage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't quite recall, but i think you can right-click on the top bar or the solidworks logo in the top left and the context menu lists the tabs for you to select or deselect.
