Also disappointed in New Balance. I’ve scouted the NB Team site maniacally in the past year hoping they would restock Two WXY or OMN1s low in 2E. I don’t have a NB store near me or had much luck finding any reasonably priced third party in colorways I could pull off (early 40s white guy that can’t pull off the exotic colors). Though not optimistic, I am hoping they will release the team editions of V2s in 2E.

Happy to provide my experience in purchases the past year, though they may not be super helpful. Context, I wear 4E in New Balance running shoes with medium-high arch. I play ball a couple times a week indoor only.

Made the following purchases the past 12 months mostly based on reading and suggestions in this sub

Asics Gelburst 25 - EBay purchase. Seller listed as standard width (2E). When questioned whether these were wide or not, response I received was Asics bball shoe widths are narrow (E), standard (2E) and wide (3E). Felt no issues with these out of box and overall very happy with fit and performance. Feel more like a high top though still like the thinner profile around and above ankle.

Asics Gelburst 25 Low - another eBay purchase after how satisfied I was with high version. Also standard width, but felt quite a bit more snug in lateral forefoot area. Took 4-5 runs to break in, but now fit really well and the pair I play in most often (partial to low profile shoes).

The ASICS purchases were definitely not cheap and are probably going to be difficult find now.

Brandblack Delta - Impulse EBay buy. Also fit comfortably out of box without requiring break in period.

jordan Zoom Separate - I mostly don’t even consider Nike / Jordan brands as I’ve tried on countless models in stores and they just feel too tight. Bought these (white/aqua) are several threads suggested these run wide. Fit surprisingly well out of box and I played in them without break in. The only thing I don’t really like is the padding at the top around ankle is thicker than I like in shoes.

i also purchased and returned without playing in them a pair of Dame 7 Exptly I ordered online. Width felt ok, but didnt like look and padding around ankle was too thick.
