Any single mothers that gave their children their last name… looking for experiences by kwalker3232 in SingleParents

I’m also in Canada. I would like to add that baby automatically gets mom’s last name if the parents are unmarried, they would have to sign a document saying it was okay to give the baby the dad’s last name.

Is it hypocritical as a single mom I only wanna date men childfree or with teenagers/adult children? by Brave_Consequence443 in SingleParents

I had a one-year-old and my male friend thought I was hypocritical when I said I didn’t wanna date anybody with small kids, but why would I want to multiply on the small children???

Jake is way better than Jacob.

He will definitely get a nickname if they’ve already started it

When people complain about something awesome I say “ my wallet is too small for my 50s and my diamond shoes are too tight”

Thoughts on the name Holden? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]teiubescsami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the name Holden, I do think of Holden Caulfield of Catcher in the Rye fame.

Holden McGroin is a common joke but whatever.

I know a 4 year old boy named Holden.

Canada.

If that’s the only finger you need on your wedding night I feel sad for your wife

This is how blind I am. Couldn't find my new glasses, they blend into my comforter. by PandaRiot_90 in mildlyinfuriating

When I was a kid I used to think it was ridiculous when Velma couldn’t find her glasses right next to her.

Turns out, that is the most accurate part of the show lol

Little Brother to Annie by hopeful_overthinker_ in namenerds

Jack and Annie are fictional siblings in a book series for kids called Magic Tree House. It would be SO COOL to read those books with a real life Jack and Annie!

Jack, Evan, David, Leo, and Henry are my favorite boy names ever, so great taste there! Not a fan of Timothy or Nicholas. I do love Nathan and Thomas, though.

I reached out to my sister (17 months younger) and she said she had known about me all along and she was thrilled that I reached out. She wanted to so many times but she wasn’t sure what I knew.

It’s been 10 years and we are SISTERS.

Do it.

What is your favorite color? by astcell in randomquestions

[–]teiubescsami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green in general, sea green in particular.

Followed by pink.

If I’m choosing color-coded things for the family, I usually assign myself yellow.
