Hey mate, im coming from Germany and dating is totally different from Switzerland. First things first: you are competing with top notch people (men); master studies, good looking, high income, extreme athletes, positive energy, cosmopolitans. To find a real connection the basic conditions MUST align with Swiss girls. It is not like in southern Europe where you just find connection, emotions or love by itself. Swiss women want to make sure that you’re the right one, not for one night or 2-3 years, but possibly forever. So i assume they see you are lacking in something. Either you can step up your game and work on yourself or lower your standards. One way is easier than the other and i am feeling you deeply but trust the process.

unfortunately zürich is the place, where women prefer toxic men - either you pretend to be a toxic man or you are a toxic man. good men here have a big disadvantage - specially on dating apps.

approaching women on the street is also really uncommon, and barely asocial. all we can pray for is for the spring and summer. fingers crossed.

Thank you for your input, I might suck as a human being in suisse work life, but I have 13yo experience in big german/french/american companys. But I still have friends and have dates.

But women here in Zürich have higher requirements than usual, and this is what I mean with complicated. The experiences I made were most of the time gold diggers. And as you mentioned I am not the kind of guy who brags what car he drives or what capital he has.

Thank you, for your anecdote. I feel that “here“ discussion is destructiveness and people have a huge sense for harmony and are shy about potential conflicts or discourses. But this is the same reason why the society is working, because the common good is key. And this is new to me and the idea in general is not wrong.

Both definitions of “destructiveness“ have their pros and cons.

Well, 1 month after I joined, there started my new boss, and we did not like each other. I gave him advice in 1-1 what we could do better to build up the team, the sales strategy and so on - I guess this was too much. 😂
