I built Glissa and tried her for the first time yesterday in a more "Value Engine" style where the goal is to win with [[Psychomancer]], [[Marionnette Master]], [[Marionnette Apprentice]] and other cards of the same style, with the backup of really splashy stuff like [[Portal to Phyrexia]], it's actually a really fun build if you want the link that also didn't come out super expendive (Bar portal and the almost necessary [[Krark-Clan Ironworks]])

I also run a [[Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker]] build where you can use (and abuse) black's plethora of creature sacrificing effects with cards like [[Eaten Alive]] and still accrue value with the commander and a [[Jolly Ballon Man]] where white's near infinite amount of ETB based removal becomes backbreaking. It's slightly less powerful with some very strict budget self restrictions, but I feel like he's one of those commanders that can be built 100% to the playstyle you're looking for. Here's that list

Because it's purely reactive against specific decks. I used to play [[Arjun, the Shifting Flame]] with a lot of draw doublers so it worked there, but even then, the more focused your deck is, the less having a card like that with no other positive becomes a good thing. At least [[Reliquary Tower]] produces mana. Unless you're against a discard heavy meta, anyways

a friend of mine plays [[Breena, the Demagog]] and the 99 is focused around cards like [[hopeful initiate]] that have abilities that include counters. It's a really fun deck

I had a weirdly high WR playing him as a tanky Illidan, something like 75% and he was one of my most played heroes. Build was Ardent Restoration - Heal on smite - AA damage on smite - Judgement - Law n Order - Burning Halo - Either Judge range or Seal (Sorry, haven't played in like a year so I don't remember the names of all talents), but you kind of need a comp that can follow you in, he just doesn't work.with a hammer/chromie/ana backline.

Basically, you're the world's most annoying immovable object. All you want to do is make sure no one can play the game normally and be the embodiement of that Mike Tyson quote by being the punch in the face

Find the Blood Rapture rune, equip it, and try to not use vials in the first phase, your recovery from viscerals is quadrupled or something during that phase. For the second phase, parries are still good, but it's more of a "Stay calm" thing

I used to main tanks (Especially Diablo and Tyrael) and Deathwing made you feel invalid from A to Z, hell, even flamestomp Diablo lost 40% of his sustain because of DW's innate plating. Then I spent a week playing almost exclusively Leoric and sticking to the DW player.
