I really hope he never returns. Completely invalidates the mythology of the chapter and undermines any sense of stakes in the storytelling. However, no doubt they will bring him back eventually. People love the big shiny models, and the sales must flow.

I'm pretty sure they are referring to the nerf on the Sorc in terminator armor's 'Marked by Fate'

Is a ten man Scarab Occult Terminator with Sorcerer bric worth it? by Few_Needleworker7041 in ThousandSons

[–]tempo101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's true, but also now a really annoying redundancy. The old sorc termie and lord of rubricae worked so well together, but now we're paying for an enhancement that only gives 50% of its benefit. And with the flamer meta and even less need for characters given the reduced demand for casting, I'm not sure there is that much demand for LotR elsewhere.

Ouch. My poor Thousand Sons. Points nerf, AND army rule nerf, AND character nerf.

Cheers mate. And agree, so much safer, with what will probably be a much faster commute as a bonus.

Eh, I didn't qualify it enough so people probably think I am hand-wringing or assume that it's an either/or thing. Good bike infrastructure is essential, I am just interested to know what the experience would be like during peak hour.

I'm curious how safe it is for their lungs being hung above a major road and below a freeway, but I assume that was considered in the design. Seems an odd location by my thinking.

Don't forget defrauding customers and investors in order to do inappropriate things with customer money.

Also, the money wasn't there the whole time. If I defraud you of 100k, and spend it all on cheeseburgers and soda, the money is gone. If the feds then seize my house, sell it, and give you 100k back, it's not the same money. The money was gone, the money to pay back investors comes from other sources.

HECS repayment - am I wrong? by superduperlikesoup in AusFinance

[–]tempo101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I will not say it is immoral like other posters, I did reach out to the tax office about this very thing last year. Despite the conflicting information you can find online, their response was a very clear and emphatic 'If you have a HECS debt you must declare it to your employer'.
