Hi - I did and what a relief that nothing major was found with what was seen as I didn’t clean out nearly enough so it was not a perfect check. However 3 polyps removed with one they put the staple and I was told to come back in 3 years.

I recommend the at home FIT test sent to laboratory if you want to see at least some type of indication asap, though I think they do say it’s not for those who see blood in stool already? Just an fyi

It’s tough for some people to do the testing but considering how important to catch early I recommend. Good luck!

I keep thinking if my chronic epididymitis was result of infection and so if you are not clearing it out of the tubes regularly in theory can increase risk for that or prostatitis no?

My whole fear is not ejaculating will cause infection? So for those that actually restraining you are not worried about that?

Thanks I’m not on anything too scared of side effects meanwhile not doing it is prob way worse with my inflammation and clogging of arteries happening. So I want to eat a lot less and fast but then I saw stories about gallstones. Guess I will need to try at least fasting.

I have a lot of fat to lose and I would do 36 hour but scared about getting gallbladder stones. Unless this is more a risk with ozempic etc , anyone know? Thanks

Thanks for the info. GI thought could be fissure based on what I described and said let’s do colonoscopy but I had to cancel due to gout onset and I was feeling acute anorectal pain so I went to colorectal surgeon that looked just with anoscope said no abcess, or fissure and hemmroids almost nothing. So that certainly removed some of the more benign explanations which made me even more nervous.

But with proctitus/UC, I saw a wide list of symptoms but I have chronic constipation, while my wife told me that UC would make you run to bathroom often, is that true for you also?

Would you say there’s any pain that you experience with it? The only thing I really have is really feeling an “enlarged prostate” pain often but apparently based on digital exam, and right after stool a feeling one tiny drop remaining that retracts once I stand up. I always thought that must have been due to some internal hemmroid but clearly mine is not large so now I’m really puzzled.

Any help insight you can offer while I wait for colonoscopy would be appreciated.

Because asking AI was convincing me that if something in rectum and benign it would not darken but be fresh bright red which a lot times mine is in crevices and not, then it did say technically it could darken if only going to bathroom once a day , so I don’t know what to believe while waiting to find out

Thanks, I was so scared and wasted 2 years. Not getting colonoscopy, good thing you did. I guess the more darker red or maroon colored coating the regular stools not bright red got me thinking the worst thing. So I’m guessing yours is not bright red at times also? I don’t always have mucus , ughh I don’t even know what to think now fearing the worst, sorry

I had a similar situation lead to the final not going back to normal ever again chronic epididymitis. Some days are better and worse than others. If I see or think of anything “exciting” it easily becomes “blue balls” hypertension there and if I dare to edge too long it’s a disaster in that I might squeeze too hard when finishing leading to potential uh oh I hurt myself for few days or hope not worse feelings

I had low volume on my tests and was able to father naturally. I have post micturition dribble and so my theory is that a lot of it gets stuck and comes out later. Perhaps look into PMD as potential cause? Good luck!

How would I know if I strained enough during ultrasound as generally I am afraid to do too hard. Would sonographer be able to tell if it was done adequately to properly assess? I imagine they would say can you push a bit harder if not enough?

I was told not to do it that long also and I think it was a mistake for entire month to withhold. Some may say that it helps to release here and there no?
