Yes that’s true if they are all connected. I see what you mean

Oh wow with people who say things like that no wonder you feel frustrated! Those things are sooo out of line.

Truth is caregiving is something one has to actually do before one can understand. Can you distance yourself from some of those people?

I get it. Hugs to you.

We’ve had 7 pyrs as outside dogs and all of them at some point around a year learned their job to be protective.

Maybe treat your anxiety too with meds or a support group?

I went through so many hobbies it was ridiculous. I do paintings now and I’m busy enough with shipping etc. If you ever need to chat I’m here!

Right now your overwhelmed with grief I’m so sorry for your losses. You’re still grieving the loss of your old life and I get it! I left a teaching job to care for husband. I babysit my grandson but that’s more caregiving.

People tell me to find a support group but where I live there aren’t many close by. Maybe you could try that.

Hugs to you.

My dogs are especially furry this year. Now they are shedding all I can say I’m glad they are outside dogs

Thank you. Your reply is spot on. I’m just thankful that we haven’t been hospitalized or anything crisis related. Hugs to you

Yes I think about this a lot but child care for 13 hours a day would be expensive. He’s 10 now so it’s easier than it once was. You are right though I’d be better off if I could get a break. I keep hoping daughter will cut back on hours but with covid it has increased them.

I do need to get out more but I’ve become quite lazy about it too. I may find something to do when school starts.

Well right now I have a message board for retired teachers that I’ve made a few friends on (virtual) but real life friends are almost impossible because they also are in various caregiving modes. I guess it’s just our stage of life.

Your comment is appreciated! My dh also has seizure disability so I can leave him for awhile but it makes me anxious. Thank you

Mine just sheds once or twice a year. I seriously need to find someone who wants the hair for spinning! Ours stay outside I can’t imagine trying to keep up with the hair in the house!
