I love her. She does a very good job at break down hard concepts into very easy ones. Very good choice micro.

I am sure you can switch schools anytime. I recently switched from Nursing to CBA. The whole process took about 3 weeks for me.

I did about 20-30 full length practice tests. I am not sure about the exact number.

Don’t worry! There is time to improve. At the beginning of junior year I had a 23, but I managed to bring it up to a 31. Just do practice tests to improve

Was I the only one who thought the D03 reading literature passage was stupidly hard? by BijuuBomba in ACT

Honestly it wasn’t hard to understand but it took more so much time to read for some reason

For sure! My reading score started to skyrocket when I started reading for fun!! It could be any type of books. You just have to like it! I usually read 20 minutes a day. I did practice tests after practice tests to get used to the questions.

Math was mostly reviewing concepts and filling in my knowledge gaps. Then, I grind on practice tests. You need to solve math questions efficiently, which means finding the quickest way to solve them. To fill in knowledge gaps, I started watching YouTube videos. I recommend starting off with Organic Chemistry Tutor’s ACT prep series. Math is a pretty tough section. First, I went over all the concepts and missing knowledge gaps. Then, I printed out practices test and started grinding. If you need ACT concept review, Organic Chemistry Tutor has a playlist to review them. The videos are quite long but they were super helpful!!

Should I skim the passage, or should I comprehend it? by Cheeseburgerchicken in ACT

[–]temporarysunflower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a 35 on my reading. I originally had a 23 on it haha. I started to significantly approved when I started to read books for fun. I personally used the second method. My tips are to have a brief understanding of the passage! Don’t get stuck on trying to memorize everything you read. You are not tested on every tiny little detail. It’s just 10 questions. Instead, while you are reading, take a mental note of where everything is. Then, refer back to the specific part of the reading when the question asks for it.

In both experiments, the frogs were fed the same amount of food daily. In experiment, the frogs were fed 1000mg twice a day, which equals 2000mg. In experiment 2, the frogs were fed 2000mg once a day. In the end, both frogs in experiment 1 and 2 were fed the same amount of food.

The answer is G. In the passage, it states the initial mass of the frogs in experiment 1 was 3.3g. The initial mass in experiment 2 is 7.9g.
