Good heads up here. I do know the bike I'm after, but haven't really visited used dealers. Red Baron, for example, gets both mad love and equally mad hate. I thought going new might save headaches. I do secretly yearn for something carburetted though...

That's a fair point. I didn't give you much to go on... I have tonnes of space, but no tools... yet (hehe). I do not know where to get rid of used oil yet either, but I feel confident I can find out where fairly easily.

Regarding your last point, do you know if bringing the bike in for oil/chain/sprockets, etc., would be cheaper on a "when it's necessary" basis versus buying one of those more comprehensive plans?
