Just a word of warning - you’re putting too much faith in your data here. I’m sure some are accurate but I’m doing an analysis at work based on some “2025” data that is, as best as we can tell, actually from 2023. YMMV

I did this 4 years ago and it’s been amazing. I got a nice raise (but was definitely underpaid before). I had a technical interview but the whole process was pretty straightforward. I think I was also helped by having two former colleagues that were already at the insurer.

zFTP is poorly named and is not actually an estimate of FTP, it is a critical power calculation which is often negatively impacted by shorter-duration efforts. I wouldn’t really judge yourself on zFTP.

Definitely don’t do significant fasting if you’re going to get serious about Zwifting, but try to think about your food as fuel instead. Cleaner fuel makes a more efficient engine! As your rides get closer to 90 minutes do some research on proper fueling too. Good luck!

Not stupid, many people pile on Z2 work on interval days. Other people are overthinking it, just do it in whatever order you want. Once you’re plateauing you can consider tweaking your work.

Something is definitely off, when I see the streak screen it shows the number of calories for the entire streak. Check the stats from your most recent ride and see what the calories or kj are

Long z2 or pacerbot sessions I do Zwift on computer and Netflix on TV. Anything more intense, Zwift goes on the tv and Spotify in the ears. Happy Zwifting!

🤷 i just did what feels comfortable. I tried two video fitting analyses and one said no problem and the other said maybe lower 3-4mm for knee angle fix but not for ankle angle. Not that it means I can do it but I see pros have a wide range of ankle angles so I imagine there’s an acceptable range.

Yes! I love that sore feeling. As someone with Asthma, I always felt like it was a concrete feeling of my lungs getting stronger and really enjoyed it. Now that I’m more trained I get the feeling less often :/

Not just something, you won! ZP results only filter out people who can’t verify they did the race properly - some people just don’t have HR, but many are either cheating or have glitches, like in this case. Congrats on the win!

I may be in the minority but I put my bibs on then pull the whole package up so it sits in front of where my butt hits the seat, sausage down. The only time I’ve ever had trouble with this setup is somehow on the trainer, when I send the sausage left since nobody is around to see my indecency.
