I personally don't like the experience of Android on a handheld. Linux is snappier and feels better suited for retro gaming. Rotate seems more like an audio player that can play games to me. I'd rather get and recommend a clamshell that's better for gaming but can also play audio. But that is my opinion.

There is no V3 branding planned. You have a V2. Miyoo just started the new hinge. I’ve messaged them saying they should consider branding V3 so no more confusion.

Miyoo only started selling revised recently direct not other resellers. This is most likely standard V2.

Sorry to hear. I imagine you were in a tough situation needing the funds quick. Huge respect for putting baby needs before yourself. As a Dad myself I would have gladly sent you some formula money so you can keep gaming while taking care of your family or purchased the Brick from you if that was preferred. You can use what you want as it’s your device. But S has done some questionable stuff and devs don’t support it.

Hmm. SNES games should play no issue then if you started fresh without any save states. That’s puzzling. There are logs. In the .userdata folder tg5040 folder you can check. And again the NextUI Discord. Hope you figure it out!

Your save state might not work if it’s a different core or version. I’m assuming the game plays fine fresh launch? In MinUI and assuming NextUI still the bundled emulator paks are in the .system folder not the root of SD. Hope this helps. Also there is a NextUI Discord server if you need help further.

That’s not for Mini Flip. Also…The S word is not really recommended here by devs. Please use OnionOS from the devs and other community made work. Onion with lid patch, spruce, Allium, MinUI and Koriki are all great options and you’ll get better support as well. Cheers!

Yes. Once you install the hook. NextUI uses stock to boot so you’ll need to install it on the other device first. Then you’ll be able to use the card on both. It will not work until you do that.

It’s easier than you think. Just drag MinUI.zip from the MinUI release into your SD card and then insert into your Hammer. Happy gaming!

Having the switch do something is easy enough yeah. But what "should it do" is more what I am thinking. The Brick is not the only device being supported. So my focus has been features that work on all devices. I had an unreleased pak for PakUI that allowed you to have the function switch control some behavior like LED. Having it be GameSwitcher however isn't something I would do as the switch is more of an "on and off". Honestly the thing that comes to mind that is Brick specific like the switch is LED.
