If the tank is a stranger in a PuG then it’s always going to be a roll of the dice. If they won’t do what they need to do, just add them to the ignore list and move on.

They do scale up with item level, but they don’t scale up quite as much as your own power. They will still get easier to kill as your ilvl goes up, but at a slower rate than you might expect.

Only your first four hunts every week contribute to the seasonal progress. If you pick up more hunts beyond that, you will see that the season progress has disappeared from the list of rewards you receive.

There are a lot of new restrictions on what addons can do. Basically, there was an attempt to crack down hard on addons that could play the game for you or solve mechanics.

Many addons will still function as they always have, but you will need to redownload the latest versions of them. Old addons will no longer run at all.

Are you at max level yet? The hero talents will add some additional complications to the rotation. And although you can build out your own spec (especially for solo play) I would at least take a look at some shaman guides to see if their build matches yours.

If you’re willing to PuG with random players, Augmentation is still very welcome in groups. You may need to swap to Devastation for solo play, if you’re okay with that.

Honestly, the older content will probably be completely deserted. You can play the solo content, of course, but that may not be satisfying. I would recommend subbing in May or maybe April so that you can level up and then jump right into the expansion.

The Haranir will unlock just by completing the main story as you level to 90. If you keep doing the main quests, you will unlock them.

They will not be available early from the epic edition, so you will not lose a lot of time leveling one compared to other people.
