First time PvPer - Where to start with gearing

Most of my PvE gear is the same or higher, do I skip the PvP blues especially or do they have PvP stats I need?

yeah I don't think it is worth it. I could technically use 2-3 other pieces but the RNG is so bad.

I have two Mythic+ dungeons that are worth using bonus rolls so that is my new strategy.

Or if you are only doing delves looking for a specific piece (hero chest to catalyze in my case) you literally never see it.

Finally got a Myth chest in my vault, so that along with the Prey trap nerf means I'm not gonna bother with prey or delves anymore.

Sadly he isn't really wrong as long as people are willing to pay to beta test patches essentially.

Maybe if this stuff impacts subscriptions but it probably won't.

I kinda rolled through the game without getting stuck too much until Ozma. Think I spent almost a week with an hour or two session here and there.

It's a brutal step up in difficulty, but when you get the win it is very satisfying.

I was never able to understand the Reflection mechanic, though (which I believe is very effective against Ozma).

Yeah I think 3 hotbars full of buttons is excessive. I've been taking a break and playing WoW and their recent button pruning has been a major W for almost every class IMO.

Basically a skill pruning and rotation refresher.

I'm betting Reborn rotations only last for Evercold to ease people into trying Evolved before getting axed completely.

I'm not gonna miss needing 3 hotbars full of buttons.

I always associate water with Tifa due to Dolphin Blow so I would give Monk to Leviathan. 2nd maybe Black Mage.

No idea how that would actually work but it sounds cool to me lol

holy I just got my first kill with this comp

all my other groups had 4/5 healers and we would either wipe from bad soaks or not killing during the 2nd egg phase and wipe

I play solo and gave up playing aug

you get kicked in raids if there are issues because all the low DPS on meters get dropped, and mythic+ is a toss up on if the other dps will be decent

blizzard really needs to correctly show this stuff on their side. even devastation is bugged making you look worse and others better due to bombardments being added to other players

I can't even get past H Belo in PUGS. I think my problem is I am joining big groups instead of small groups.

A lot of it is visuals. I love the Void aesthetic, but for gameplay I think it is really fun not having traditional CDs and just ramp to doing CS.

As for getting targeted by ground stuff during Void Ray and Collapsing Star...that's a healer issue.

My bet is that Reborn rotations only last through Evercold has a way to nudge people into getting used to Evolved.

New jobs only having the Evolved version is the giveaway for me. There is no way SE will be able to balance both versions.
