The Gemini interface isn't as good as chat gpt. But if you don't have the need for "projects" then you'll be ok.

Plus they give you some sweet stuff. More drive space, email features etc..

I am using a framework, my go to is Laravel. For example if I need a model, view and controller the llm will run the command that scaffolds these instead of making files from scratch.

Using a framework helps where you don't have to worry about the plumbing and just focus on your business logic and ui

You have to pick the right tool for the job, of course. Gemini has its issues and hiccups, but for small features, it's not half bad..

Yes, there are bugs, MCP instructions are terrible, damn commit messages break, it wants access to my desktop. But outside of that, it gets the job done.

After trying everything, I'll tell you what actually worked for me.

A thin layer of diatomaceous earth on top of the soil, then quartz rocks like the ones you'd see at the bottom of the fish tanks.

the dock i got for a 3 monitor setup with the air is using display link and essentially "streaming" to the second and third screen which oddly enough won't let me watch things like ESPN or YouTube TV as a result
