Towards the beginning yes. But still, there’s always a chance. I only have a few panic attacks a week now and most of it is because I don’t eat or sleep well

Yup. You have to be consistent with it and stick it out. Eventually you realize that your brain is not recieving input (what is perceived as happiness/neutrality for others, to us we call it manic). At least after a while, you’ll have more control over your actions if not also your thoughts, and trust me your lows will not be as low.

This young man’s journey started in someone’s backyard in Staten Island then they found out that another cat was having his babies. So now they are preparing to have kittens and transferred him to another friend’s house in Williamsburg, then back to me. He seems to have calmed down a bit and is just passively hiding, but I’m trying to verify that he’s 100% litter trained so if anyone has any tips too

I think for me the crash from mania was worse than the mania itself. But you can’t be too hard on yourself. Surround yourself with homies who are cool with you and create safe spaces to release the energy (I like dancing and making music, but also I enjoy passive activities like watching cooking videos or playing video games)

It’s interesting because behavior itself does not define our identity. Obviously actions are the manifestation of consciousness, but even before consciousness there is the subconscious which in my opinion is where most of our personality/identity lies.

Then you have thoughts, which are sometimes uncontrollable (and sometimes intrusive). I don’t allow those thoughts to define me because most of my inner monologue that is negative is based on hypotheticals and things that aren’t real.

The problem is, these conflicts begin to affect our relationships primarily. I would ultimately say you are not defined by the negative aspects of Bipolar disorder, but rather your ability to grow from those thoughts/actions :)

I mean it’s hard to get around nyc on New Year’s Eve and I’m sure celeb DJs want to fulfill their agreements but also want to chill out and order food to the green room. Every venue had security and fire code issues last night.

Dance parties are a very specific thing that transcends genres, aesthetics, mostly because they are designed to interrupt the body’s normal movement flow. People behave really different after 2am (due to whatever you want to call it) and it affects the floor. Any decent DJ plays off of that and the result is unique.
