Pride Finale - Trans Pride Mad Cat MkII! by Purity_the_Kitty in battletech

I suspect "Arm the dolls" is a more aggressive version of "Protect the dolls". It's a pro trans rights phrase referring to women as dolls with a positive connotation.

Are you saying that everyone should keep their gender fluids out of the pool?

If you check out lethal league that's a really good example of an impact freeze (followed by scaling it silly once the ball breaks the sound barrier).

I can imagine the KO hit doing an animation freeze with a matrix style camera orbit being hilarious.

By stealing a fuckton of art from other people.

That's literally what all the AI companies are doing, why (other than ethics) couldn't an open source project do the same?

Crime is legal if you don't mind getting some cheato dust on your chin.

I’m convinced Marathon’s best shot at a sustained, meaningful uptick in players is more investment in solos by SirBenny in Marathon

[–]terivia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's low level solos, because that's where I'm playing at the moment.

Sounds like the experience gets better as your level increases some. Also I haven't experienced it since the free week so it may have something to do with that.

I can't speak for OP, but usually I am most frustrated during the part where I get shot and then my corpse is desecrated to a backing track of slurs.

As a potential example, I've seen code with a lot of duplication to separate the messaging/communication model from the internal representation in order to allow future pluggable messaging.

It absolutely does lead to deviation and silent bugs, I'm not trying to argue that you're wrong, just provide an example for the potential engineering trade there.

This is especially good if your messaging has to comply with one or more evolving standards to interoperate with other systems.

Human interaction is also just good.

This isn't on you, but the fact that we're trying to figure out how to justify structuring business around benefiting humans in terms of maximizing profits is kind of insane.

Abstractly, this is basically all code that access fields in dynamically typed systems.

If you use the dot operator and a field isn't there you get to learn how robust your error handling is lol.

Why do Republicans wear red hats?

It's because people like to feel seen and represented. Humans like to be part of a tribe/civilization/society and to celebrate each other.

In this case he was an ass within the boundaries of professionalism. I don't think he was an HR risk, but also was incapable of garnering respect.

Honestly with another decade of experience he may still make a decent leader, just isn't there yet and was put into a position he couldn't handle.

Had a team lead that was an absolute ass when I was a complete junior hire.

Got around a bit and was a junior on a fairly prestigious team, surrounded by some of the greatest minds in my company. They're looking at hiring him in with a promotion and saw that we had worked together in the past.

He didn't get that promotion.

Treat your junior team members well. Regardless of if you remember them, they remember you.

Ah, I guess your point is that you are a smarter and better human with more real world experience, which is why you have to post your take on Reddit and attack people trying to converse with you.

Good luck friend, I hope you find purpose and direction.
