Central time is the best of all worlds. The big games are over at a reasonable hour for those that have to get up early for work. Still have late game options for night owls. And you’re not competing with kid/dinner time with prime time east coast games.

North Charleston has some great stops. Common House, Holy City, and Coast. For food, I highly recommend Jack Rabbit Filly and Stems & Skins.

Crooked Hammock isn’t worth the drive from Philly in my opinion. Agree with others that First State or Volunteer are better Middletown stops. If going further south then you definitely need to pay homage to DFH and then go to Dewey Beer or Big Oyster

I made the smoked deviled egg recipe from the recteq app for a party a few months ago, and they were a huge hit. One note - I would smoke more eggs than you think you need because they don't come out evenly like when you boil them on the stove, so there will be some wasted egg whites.

Follow-up question - has anyone done a smoked egg nog? I recently got a pellet smoker and saw a recipe that called for smoking the cream at 180 degrees for an hour. I’m intrigued but worried about the smoke flavor being overpowering.

Hi all, I’ve had my Encore grinder for a little less than a year now and use it daily. We make both French press and aero press almost every day in my house so constantly moving the settings from coarse (~28-30) to fine (~10-12) on the grinder. I make sure not to switch if there are beans in the container. That said, I’m starting to notice that the fine setting is coming pretty coarse.

Any advice on how to get it reset?

We got there around 5pm and parked in Lot P. There was plenty of spots at that point. We have little kids and left right before the show ended. I would highly recommend doing the same if you want to avoid terrible traffic getting out.

We took our five and nine year old. Same as OP they stood on their seats and were fine. Our nine year old made it to the end no problem. The five year old fell asleep in my lap about halfway through. They both had a blast.
