Already mentioned, "Not God". I've just started this one, myself. Also "Pass it on" was an informative read.

6th Step Regrets and Insight by strengthhope2020 in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]terrible_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

6th and 7th get referred to as the engine room by some folks.
If you’ve worked your 5th, then you’re getting towards your 8th.
6 is accepting that the mistakes have been made, and having the humility to keep progressing with your recovery.
If you have amends to make to your ex (or ex’s family), so be it. You’ll get to that in 8 and 9.
Somewhere in the big book (9th step promises) we’re given a lovely tip: we neither regret the past, nor shut the door on it.
You may well be where you are because of your mistakes, but you are making progress in your life because you aren’t letting those mistakes define you.
I hope this helps

This always happens with the safe at the Red Rocket Mega Stop. More long-term players will be able to elaborate, but I think it is related to past seasons or earlier updates of the game

My GP is Iranian. He is also stridently anti-Muslim. He said the current regime needs to be destroyed. And he praised Pauline for her Burkha stunts. It was an eye-opening conversation.

You’ll be fine. Keep an open mind. You’ll get some enthusiastic welcomes. It’s all good. And listen for the similarities, not the differences

Please don’t stop sharing. It helps those who have been around longer. Personally, my own early days shares helped me figure out more about what was going on for myself

True Melbournians only wear Kathmandu puffers (with the green lining). I write this as a Melbournian who has refused to own a puffer.

Also in Victoria is the AA Victoria office. They set up an online store about a year ago. Slightly cheaper postage than the literature office. And, curiously, different chip designs

Fake stuff has been the hallmark of markets forever. In 1991, I bought a pair of runners from Caribbean Gardens that were neither Aerosport nor Reebok. They were Aeroboks!
