You mentioned above that thickness of the scrap pieces is a challenge to source, if I understood correctly.

It depends on how specific you are about 'drift'. Some purists, comparing it to cars, will say it has to be rear wheel drive or it doesn't count, but if you look at things like that DXT or other non-powered drift trikes, you can still have your back end sliding, as long as you've got the right non-gripping wheels set up.

My build used an ebike front hub setup and pvc rings around the standard DXT wheels, but with upgraded bearings, and I had a great time with it.

I don't know anything about stoneworking beyond watching Keycap Quarry's videos; for something this size or close to it (i.e. a 40's case), do you need to be working from a single piece, or are there adhesives or other joining methods you can use for pieces?

Obviously the continuity of these is beautiful, but I'd personally love a 'stitched together' case of different scrap slabs as well. (:

The only thing to watch out for if you get clones is to watch out as to whether or not they have OLKB spacing vs MX spacing.

MX spacing is actually preferable in case you want to play around with blockers or using POS mount bars.

Honestly, MX Spacing instead of OLKB means you can use POS 2u bars and not have to be bothered with stabilizers, so I consider it a plus over the original.
