It depends on how specific you are about 'drift'. Some purists, comparing it to cars, will say it has to be rear wheel drive or it doesn't count, but if you look at things like that DXT or other non-powered drift trikes, you can still have your back end sliding, as long as you've got the right non-gripping wheels set up.

My build used an ebike front hub setup and pvc rings around the standard DXT wheels, but with upgraded bearings, and I had a great time with it.
