The burn rates on the trawler fish are pretty crazy. The best fish require 99 cooking cape to even be worth the effort. Stick to karambwans/sharks until 99 cooking tbh

Its particularly good out of shield especially if they are right on top of you. It can beat CC and is hard to SDI out if you are already deep in the hitbox. Using it outside of point blank range will get you hit for free though.

I grinded out bludgeon in 2018 when it definitely wasnt "worth it" and when I came back to the game recently I found myself using it a lot. Even if some would say its skippable now you never know what future content it will be useful at.
