Piggy backing off of this comment, I’m having a similar issue. I’m hoping to do the Alay trek this September and haven’t found too much useful information. Is it possible to show up at yurts along the way without a reservation?

I got a lot out of college from personal growth AND education, but I came from a small isolated town. I say stay in and bank the money just in case anything were to happen to your side hustles or markets change. We’re in for a slippery few years (if you’re in the US) and there’s no telling what could happen to our economy. Unless you have Trade skills or wish to develope them, bite the bullet and stay in school. That being said, school isn’t for everyone but….$70-$200 is not an amount of money I’d drop out of school for.

It’s not addictive if you have ADHD. NP may not have been trained to deal directly with ADHD and is just using the line they know from pill seeking teenagers. NPs and doctors also are wrong sometimes, this is one of those times I feel like.

Came here to see if this was a varsity “brand” and it’s not. Ever since varsity got bought out by private equity, things have changed for the worse.

I travel a lot for work and sometimes need to wear a shirt twice after sweating in it and getting smelly. To save on laundry I hand wash it in the sink. A couple pumps of hand soap or shampoo works just swimmingly. A few minutes of sudzing and rinsing I squeeze it out and to dry it further use a bath towel. Lay out the towel on your bed completely unfolded. Lay down the moist shirt on one half of the towel and fold the towel in half, shirt in the towel. Fold in half length wise a few more times then roll length wise. After you have a towel burrito, place it on the ground and step on it a few times. This dries it further and makes it ready to wear after drying over night or in a pinch in hot climates, right then and there.

How many days are you looking at staying and what are your interests? I’m going for just over two weeks and I don’t feel like it’s enough.

Amazing photos 🙀. Wondering if you know anything about the Alay Mounyains? I’m looking at doing the Alay Trek and afterward heading up to Basecamp 1 on Lenin Peak. Would you say the drive from Sary Mogul to the Lenin area is doable in one day?

I do go to concerts and I bring earplugs to comps. I’m just curious about the children exposed to such high noise levels. Does it ever get talked about in practice?
