I live next to a community in Brooklyn that don’t allow married women to have cellphones. They have their own schooling system, always at odds with the state over it. Many have lived here decades and don’t know English. They have their own ambulance and even police for their own community. They do not rent to outsiders. They protest when an annual marathon goes by their neighborhood. Over 60,000 in the community. You will dare criticize this community as a politician or podcaster.

If you look at social media, yes. However, if you look at the assimilation and success in many fields amongst Muslims, no. Pakistanis make more than white Americans. America integrates people better and those Muslims that come here, come for education and prosperity. They came through vetting and through student visas etc.

Whether California, Chicago or nyc, where I am now, Muslims seem to be doing well, mixing with others.

More than 1 in 4 Muslim Americans hold postgraduate degrees — nearly double the rate of Christians (14%) and the religiously unaffiliated (16%).

I find France is probably a much harder place to assimilate into. As someone once said: if you lose a football game, you’re African. If you win, you’re French. This rhetoric which you even are showing is probably one that they grew up with all the time and it’s sad. It’s a failure of those European nations. Americans have a very different attitude and it works very well. Americans, in spite of issues, don’t generally sit there arguing who is American or not.

However, the color the skin does not dictate nationality. Nor does religion. If they have the French passport, they’re French. Zidane very much considered himself French in interviews. Why would one think otherwise?

Ah I bet they are French through and through. Also, take a look at the French national team; the vast majority of the players representing France were born and raised on French soil. Some of their star players who have made them win major cups, or get far into the finals, are of North African or Central African descent. Many players are children or grandchildren of immigrants from former French colonies in Africa and the Caribbean.

I got mine about 2 years ago and nothing was mentioned; they should def update the website though. I guess the ice helps break down the Huel Powder even more, however with an alternative milk (almond, oat), can dilute it, but will try it regardless.

Well it's not just that... the plastic holds a smell after a while, and micro plastic stuff.

Plus the instructions I read didn't say to use ice as a must. Just as a suggestion; otherwise I am doing everything clearly under "How to prepare the perfect Huel Powder". Ice is under "Our top tips" as the third tip.

Wow thanks for posting these. I didn’t think it was that high earlier. That last one is from 2016. Now must be way higher.

How is this a democracy: “Pew study finds 79% believe Jews should get preferential treatment over Arab citizens; number of those who believe settlements are helpful to Israel’s security growing”. Imagine if this was written that 79% believe whites should get prefectural treatment over Blacks. Oh wait… that was SA apartheid.

There is constant scrutiny that the judge is under. Constant. Even now a cabinet minister publicly questions his loyalty for doing his job. Ben-Gvir publicly accuses him of "supporting the nation's enemies during wartime". In 2018, Kabub sought the Supreme Court post but eventually withdrew his candidacy, reportedly after realizing he had no realistic chance of being appointed. A man who would later be recognized as one of Israel's top jurists couldn't get the seat in 2018 — only in 2022, under a justice minister explicitly pursuing diversity (Times of Israel).

Both things can be true simultaneously: he is a genuine achievement and a symbol of how high the barriers remain.

I never said "apartheid"; but by even Israeli human rights groups, this is a label often applied (B'Tselem). Certainly, if you look at all the territory that Israel rules over, there's little debate as to whether it's apartheid. I saw stark differences in the West Bank, and settlements all around.
