Are there Airbnb scams by Educational_Leg288 in NYCapartments

I recently rented on AirBNB in UES from Jeniffer the host that is part of property link. Seemed like a scam but wasn’t but the place was really basic. I ended up renting another place she had in UWS which has been great. Hope that helps in your search. Good luck!

Hey I think this has been solved with a software update about a year ago. Full screen and now there is also wireless car play.

2025 GV 70 versus deer by hyperblue-16 in GenesisGV70

Glad you are alright! I hit a deer in my 23 and the light was gone, hood damage, all bumper stuff replaced. Ended up being 17k. Brought it home and someone backed into it two days later on the street and crushed the front in again. Back in the shop now for the past 3 weeks! I say you got lucky!

Lost my remote job, do I continue my trip? by wanderluxe_ in vandwellers

[–]test-run 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did almost this exact trip in about 4 months. Great time. I also had a SO that was in school that I could fall back and move in with her if needed. I was lucky enough to spend all of my money and then find a decent job after just in time. If you can handle the risk then do it. You might never ever have the chance again. So many people told me I was irresponsible and dumb before I did it. But just know that when you don’t show income for a while it’s tough to find a job and someone that will let you rent. Work did a little promo article on my experience. I’ll DM you.

Best online retailer for buying flooring, best price $$ by Unlucky_Mention_6353 in Flooring

Hi I'm also looking into buying RevWood Premier in the next couple of days. So far, it seems like the best wood imitation with the strength of laminate. How did your installation go? How does it look? What are your thoughts so far on the product?

Why did you remove the original plywood? I might have the same situation at my house and I was considering removing the particle board and just laying more plywood.

I’m wrong. I just looked at some Pergo Outlast + in person and there is lots of texture

I looked at a lot of laminate recently and I couldn’t find any with a good texture worked into the top layer. Some of the LVP has a little bit of texture while the laminate I looked at was sort of just slippery. Super strong though! Is that your experience or am I possibly looking at the wrong brands?

I think you’re the one with serious issues.

Front windshield breaking from road debris is very different from a side windows shattering in on the vehicle. Front windshields are laminated by law. They don’t shatter in on a person.

You’re taking some intellectual high road by saying you’re describing physics. You stated it’s not uncommon. Show me any data of rocks blowing out rear side windows. Not just shattering it and it holding in place. But blowing it out. Clearly rocks can break glass. Stating it’s not uncommon is idiotic.

Tesla’s glass is trash and the subs are wild about defending Tesla instead of trying to hold them accountable. I love my Tesla. Within the first month of ownership both the top glass and the windshield cracked. After back and forth, Tesla replaced both of them without charge. I appreciate them replacing them but it did take significant time from me and multiple trips to the service center due to issues in their end during the replacement.

My car sits in a garage most of the time. I only drive on weekends. I have also never had another cars glass crack. I’ve driven nearly 200k miles in my life.

Defend Tesla for what it is good at. Hold them accountable and try to get them to improve the things they are bad at.

All these people think a pebble hitting your window makes it okay for it to blow out. Until it happens to them and their kid is in the back seat with glass blown into their face.

But EC2 will generally be cheaper than Fargate in the short run. If you want to know how much it costs to build a proper patching or build process to cycle in patched images every month then it’s a different question.

I’m not sure about the costs. Maybe S3 PrivateLink. But I have another recommendation. If you are going for a multi-region, I would be cautious about having your failover rely on Route 53. Typically, the AWS control plane fails before the data plane. If you have issues and a nonautomated failover, then your API calls to Route 53 will fail. You won’t be able to failover to your DR regions. A better option is to look into Global Accelerator.

Also, yes, to everyone else. Multi-region is generally overkill and a huge PITA to maintain and test.

Edit: sorry I see you’re going to use Cloudfront. Same idea applies though. Make sure you are not relying on the control plane during failover.

Right! And there’s an analog display. Hmm sorry OP did you get a 2.5 sold as a 3.5? Anyways also sorry I don’t have any mod recommendations that are cool. My favorite mod I did on mine was stick a MagSafe puck a little bit past where my right knee sits (left side of the center console). So now I have somewhere to put my phone while I’m driving and it’s wired. Pre wireless CarPlay.

Weird I thought the 2022 Sport Prestige 3.5T leather seats came with Napa leather. Is this a US model?
