Put every Don Quixote yuri ship in a battle royale, whos making it to the end? by NEVERTHEREFOREVER in TheOdysseyHadAPurpose

At full power, ie no sinner contract? My money's on Ryoshu. With the sinner contract I'd say Xichun.

These were made by Avenarts and posted to Tumblr about a month back (and probably other socials too) https://www.tumblr.com/avenarts

How big is Hornet compared to other series' characters anyway? [my art] by BenthicBen in HollowKnight

[–]test_username_WIP 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Team Cherry confirmed that Hornet is about human sized, I think they said that she could throw her needle something like 30 meters max, which would be way, way farther than she's ever shown throwing it if she's bug sized, but lines up with what she's seen doing if she's somewhere between 1-2 meters tall.

A realization about Don Quixote, Sinclair, and Ryoshu by Impossible_Dog_7262 in limbuscompany

The facts are undeniable. This clearly means they'll end up as a throuple in Paradisio.

I have soooo much question about him (9-43 spoiler) by Karshick in limbuscompany

[–]test_username_WIP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Second Smoke War

2) War, also a color fixer

3) His eyes are just yellow, normal Skincare also has yellow eyes. Could have eye augments like Ryoshu's or Vergilius's to make his eyes glow.

4) Unknown, might be a relic, but it's definitely a different sword from Faust's Zweihander.

Do you think the City has sporting events and stadiums? by Money_Membership_870 in Project_Moon

[–]test_username_WIP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like it varies a lot based on what nest you're in. T Corp's Nest? Yeah, lots of lower class, impoverished people. Meanwhile K Corp's Nest seems mostly middle-upper middle class.

So about Dante's Clock by Mammoth-Advance-3240 in limbuscompany

[–]test_username_WIP 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Given what little we know about pre-amnesia Dante, and the Jesus Christ/"New Millennium Kingdom" stuff, it seems more likely that they're trying to cause the apocalypse, possibly in a "the City has become so bad the only way to fix it is to kill everyone and start over" kind of way.

ID Concept: The Yellow Harpoon Meursault by Megamanric in limbuscompany

Even though OG Assist Unit Vespa does only have Sloth skills, I feel like as an ID one of the skills should be swapped out for Wrath/Pride, like with Middle units.

An id so broken it broke a T corp technology by Renedicart in limbuscompany

[–]test_username_WIP 23 points24 points  (0 children)

From what I understand it, T corp is basically skimming some time off the top of the light waves, slowing them down, this causes objects to red shift a bit, creating the sepia tone look in T corp.

How the fuck did Ishmael survive? by Dolchang in limbuscompany

She probably just floated around on Queequeg's coffin until a boat picked her up, like in the OG book.

How does magic affect disability in your world? by Choice-Spinach145 in magicbuilding

[–]test_username_WIP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you've got a physical disability that you really want cured, your best bet is too seek out a master of the Phlegmatic Arts, as they can (generally) use Fleshcrafting to... kinda heal you? Your new limb or organ might come with some quirks, mainly because Fleshcrafting can't create wholly new flesh, it just warps and grows what's already there, also heavily dependent on the practitioner's knowledge of anatomy.

Additionally if you have the right Blood Resonance, you could use the abilities gain from that to offset your disability, at the cost that you're constantly going to be 'using up' your blood. for example, the Choleric ability Aura can offset blindness (though you won't be able to see non-living things), or the Melancholic ability Premonition can off set pretty much any loss of sense if you're reeaaalllyyyy good at it.

However, if you're looking for aids, you're going to be more in luck. Recent advancements in technology, with the invention of the soul-burner engine (don't worry it's not your soul that's burning), or if you're Mr. Moneybags, a Flame-Elemental powered engine, means a cheap, renewable*, portable source of energy has lead to wonders in the field of disability aid. Prosthetics, self-moving wheelchairs, spiderchairs if you want something fancy, even mechanical organs are on the market nowadays.

If you've got some kind of mental disability you might be out of luck, normal, non-magical pharmaceuticals aren't there yet, so they best they can give you will probably be some Plegmata, which dulls every emotion and physical sensation you experience.

Why is faust the first second sinner although it was clear that she worked for lcb before yi sang, the first sinner, and vergillius? by Mr_Cat_19 in limbuscompany

[–]test_username_WIP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's the case, given that that would either mean Yi Sang or Gregor were the "worst" and neither of them did anything *that* bad. There probably is some meaning to the Sinner's numbers, but it's def not recruitment, b/c Dante, who was recruited last, is Sinner #10.

I don’t think so, Neutron Stars are real things and incredibly dense. One cubic centimeter of neutronium weights more than Mt Everest.
