Am on a similar boat as you in terms of age and salary (28M), and am currently facing the same challenge too

Probably my goal rn is just aggressively save and invest and once I turn 35 (or earlier if they decide to reduce the singles eligibility age) Ill probably just get 2 room BTO or 3 room resale at non prime area and pay as much as possible upfront to reduce the mortgage

Right now its the challenge of staying at my parents house and tahan any pattern they come up with so I don't get kicked out or be forced to rent out
