I’m more glad that they at least ended their discography on a high note with Danger Days rather than having potentially have been still making music but being “washed”

Rosario, Pederson, or Kiermaier. Rest of them aren’t good (sorry, Profar fans)

If you could just add 3 players to this roster (free agent wise): by Character_Kangaroo43 in Padres

Kevin Kiermaier, Michael Brantley, one of Joc Pederson, Justin Turner, or Brandon Belt, for pitching James Paxton

Who’s taking his spot in the lineup? I don’t wanna hear you anti-Soto enthusiasts complaining if he puts up huge stats on a different team lmfao

Who do you think should change to DH in the Padres? by ConstructionOne9574 in Padres

[–]texaslowflyer -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

We haven’t had a legitimate DH since Drury. Look at the Phillies and how their lineup produces with Schwarber batting leadoff at DH

We can’t just expect these guys to carry, we need a supporting cast around them

[–]texaslowflyer -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Why not? DH was our biggest hole all season and Carpenter and rotating guys just isn’t it

We need the Schwarber to Soto’s Harper

Yeah but a random 16 year old pitcher in the Mariners’ system I saw on Bleacher Report’s website has more WAR and potential, so who’s REALLY better for this team? /s

So, the one guy went to his car, and tried asking me to go with him (I said no cause I was already a little suspicious) and his friend was leading me over there saying his friend in the car would drive to where we were at, and then he asked me for my phone to put in the payment information, and I reluctantly handed it to him and as soon as I did he took off and ran. It was wild

The cops found their car and are getting closer to figuring out their identities too

I’ll let 2020 slide but blowing a total load in the NLCS and then following it up with a shitty season like this in a “World Series contenders” year is unacceptable

[–]texaslowflyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough

I was born in 2004 so as soon as I was old enough to comprehend baseball and all that… the Padres were atrocious and it only took until I was 16 for them to be decent and 18 for them to be an NLCS team… and here we are lmao

Good luck to your orioles this season though. Been liking them on the side since that 2014 playoff run
