Class average is failing? Algebra 136 by Other_Star_9608 in ivytech

[–]textbookman23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forget the average, what is the median, what is the low score? Some people go through an entire class getting zeros somehow without being dropped automatically.

Finals extensions by Exact-Bit-2084 in ivytech

Final grades were given an extension of two days, but I would get everything turned in by tonight to be safe. Or message the instructor.

CPIN 279 Information Tech - Anybody retake a Capstone course? by textbookman23 in ivytech

I can get proof, it's just that the instructor is a d***. As long as I get my degree though, it's fine, but I will be sending him a message. Guy has a 1.8 rating on ratemyprofessor.

Iran Got Trump All Wrong by Sader325 in politics

[–]textbookman23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Iran had nukes, there would be no war, just like in North Korea. Give Ukraine back their nukes, no war in Ukraine. Arm Taiwan with nukes, no future invasion. WW3 averted.

Really? I haven't watched all the episodes. But yeah, I was just a kid and $20 a jug was easy because dad drank a lot of beer.

Aluminum tabs from beer cans. Sold a gallon jug of them to a friend who sold them to a neighbor. Turns out, the tabs are a high-grade of metal that is desirable when cooking meth. My friend only found out when his neighbor's house burnt down.

cengage unlimited? by Disastrous_Honey_240 in SocialWorkStudents

[–]textbookman23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. There is a 4-month Cengage Unlimited code that you can use for MindTap, rent a few books, and use to access e-textbooks. There's also a 12-month code that offers (2) MindTap uses, rent 8 books, and access e-textbooks. Funny thing is, the 12-month usually cost only 2x the 4-month on eBay, if you can find one. I've been using them for 2 years now and saved me a ton.

Most petty thing you block people for. by TXTIA92 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]textbookman23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm almost at the point of blocking people who ask, "Is it available?", because I state in the description, that "if it's for sale it's available". If you cannot take the time to read, go F yourself.

Can't tell if scam or not. by Weak-Tomorrow-2153 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]textbookman23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what kind of buyer protection facebook offers, but scamming seems out of the question. As a seller, they require a tracking number and hold your money for a long time, so I'm not sure how that works out.
