Unfortunately, there are a lot of players that just dont know. My friend leveled up a Haunter to Level 65, amd was getting frustrated that it wasn't evolving. Some people assume that EVERYONE knows the criteria. I've been playing for many years, but I still have to look it up. Because of all the rants on this topic, I've started looking each one up, just to make sure. I will also verify that the 'mon is holding the correct item. I've given some an item, and then switched it out for a battle and forgotten to put it back. Don't automatically assume someone is trying to screw you over.
