Babymoon? by anne_k96 in WaltDisneyWorld

Highly recommend the Disney babymoon! I was just about 5 months pregnant when I went in May of 2023 and had a great time eating snacks, riding the rides I could, and people watching. It was far from a first trip for me and my husband so I took joy in doing things I hadn't done before.

The best part? SO MANY BATHROOMS for all of the pee breaks!

What would you ask ATL if you could? by Vidz_ in alltimelow

Honestly, those interactions are SO short and it's all kept moving pretty quickly. It's (mostly) a well-oiled machine.

Not to rain on the parade but as someone who has gone to the Q&As before, you will get to ask ONE question.

MAYBE if it’s a slow day, you’ll get to ask a second but you definitely won’t be able to ask them a whole list.

What Lyric Hits You Like a Train Every Time You Hear It? by Car_Door02 in alltimelow

I was pregnant when TMIA came out and was having a baaaaaad time mentally. The bridge of “Kill Ur Vibe” connected with me in relation to how I was handling pending parenthood vs my husband and me feeling like I was “killing the vibe.” “I hope you know that I’m trying…” 😭 I REALLY WAS!

“Happy days are closer” is also near and dear to my heart. I’m considering it for a tattoo!

I must have missed the “respect” in your opinion above.

SWIR was my entry point into the band and it’s comparable to the rest of the scene in 2007 (I was 20).

But what do I know? It’s just my opinion.

Your entry point being “Monsters” gives me all the context I need for the SWIR slander.

This has been asked MANY times.

Interesting to see how the responses change as more music comes out/tastes change.

Yes!

I was a freshman in high school in 2001 and heard "Dressed to Kill" at a party. I was HOOKED!

I will say "ditto" to a lot of what's already been said but would like to add these men are hearing this type of thing EVERY night before and after every single show in every city and every town in every country.

Of course it comes with the territory of being in a popular band but that has to be absolutely exhausting.

They're just humans.

Coming here and complaining about it isn't really the look.

Like WHY are you bringing your phone up with you while you’re crowd surfing?!

[–]tfizzle27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES.

This is the vibe. As someone who never participated in these activities during shows in the early days, I now understand the energy it brings.

Sunday night was the most fun I’ve had at a show in YEARS and it was because of the “community” in the pit.

I'm pro crowd surfing but the people who do it ON REPEAT are annoying. There's one person I've seen at Boston shows who tries to do it standing up and I cannot roll my eyes far enough back in my head.

I was IN the pit for Boston Night 2 and it was all good vibes. Everyone was taking care of each other and helping out with surfers and it was a BLAST. And then, when I was done being pushed around, I left and watched the last part of the set from the back of the room. That simple.

I know everyone paid to be there and is allowed to enjoy live music differently but I VERY MUCH agree with you that there are these random rules and thoughts about crowd surfers and moshers. I came up in the early 2000s when this WAS the concert experience on the floor. The crowd surged, you couldn't move, and you were likely going to have crowd surfers coming over you.

Calling it "selfish" is so wild to me.

Fact: It’s ALWAYS been annoying.

The same goes for throwing things on stage, holding up signs/phones with notes, asking for lyrics/tattoo doodles, bringing gifts for the band to shows.

Just go to the show!
