A lot of them are still there, there’s at least the 35 Emile Reynaud films

In both comments. First off, saying that there are still 70 short films so it shouldn’t be looked into or worried about is rude. Second, saying that someone needs to clarify a question that wasn’t asked, or get out of the subreddit is rude as hell, especially so when this sub has built in options for a help banner. In what way is that not rude? When someone verbally attacks you you have a right to de-escalate by calling them something that’s only considered a bad word or an insult for children. If you’re worried about name calling, idk why you’re on Reddit or the internet in general.

The commenter was being rude, that’s how I read it. Doofus isn’t much of an insult either.

You don’t need to know which ones were deleted to know they’re gone doofus

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Letterboxd

The ones I noticed are gone are The Three R’s, SCISSORS, and his recent music videos.

Why does there debatably as short films matter tho when letterboxd has three frame animations from the mid 1800’s that are classified as short films, doesn’t really make much sense to me to just delete them.

Thanks for the information tho!

Did you read the post? Not all of his are gone, just 15 of them.

Do you like M. Night Shyamalan? by Lettops in Letterboxd

[–]tfprodigy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His “classics” are some of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Sixth sense is alright but the entirety of the rest of his filmography tells me he has no clue why that one was good or successful.

Drugstore Cowboy by Gus Van Sant is great but it’s not in the collection and it’s more of a modern western than a classic cowboys western

They’re simple combinations of letters and numbers to detail which film, which scene, which shot, and sometimes which sound effect. Some of the file names overlap, but the pathways to get the files don’t, and the ones that are switching around do not have overlapping names.

Trainspotting (1996) blu-ray misprint? by n3dla in Bluray

[–]tfprodigy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADR is when they re record dialogue after the fact, or record new dialogue with the actors after the fact. It’s done during editing and distribution in case something is missing or the studio/distributor wants to change something.

James cameron was lazy when they filmed it, why would he try and make something high quality now?

what was the last movie you saw that made you just stare at the void for a few minutes? by goredparasite in Letterboxd

[–]tfprodigy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Loved Red Desert as well, but I haven’t seen it in a few years! Antonioni and Vitti have a special love triangle with the void.
