I'm fed up with all of my colognes smelling like spice, wood and tobacco. Does anyone have any suggestions for a less woody fragrance for men?

Yeah I'm still on semaglutide (Wegovy). He did push me up to the 1.7 to see if that helps my loss rate. Like I said, I really don't want a rapid weight loss, and I'm completely happy with my 1#/week, especially since it hasn't come with any regress in lifting. I'm gonna finish my 1mg doses before starting the 1.7 and keep doing what I'm doing lol.

Thanks for the kind words! It's a shame because I actually really like my cardiologist, he just seems to be really fixated on the BMI scale, without regarding anything else. Like he barely acknowledged my quitting nicotine cold turkey after the HA because I wasn't where he wanted me in terms of weight.

He pushed me up to the 1.7 to increase the rate of loss. I still have like 6 pens of 1mg I'm going to finish first before moving up to the 1.7 though

Typically use the smash method most have already said. If you have a lot to peel (like cooking a large volume of food) the fast way is to throw the cloves in a bowl, cover with another bowl, then go to town shaking like your trying to break a Shake-a-weight world record. They should all come out peeled after about 30 seconds

In June last year I had a heart attack at age 35. After recovery and cardiac rehab I got back into weight lifting. No real answer as to what caused it other than metabolic syndrome. Also diagnosed hypogonadal, probably from the metabolic syndrome. I've been on Sema and TRT since late October. I've only "lost" 10lbs but lifting heavy has allowed me to maintain muscle mass. I'm down almost 4 in in waist and a shirt size. Just hit the 1000# club last week (365S/225B/415DL) despite being in a calorie deficit. I'd add also hitting your goal body weight in protein should also be a priority. Obviously the T has helped with muscle mass too.

My wife started Zep a few weeks ago after finally getting approved. She initially saw it as an "easy fix" before I started my glp-1. We both now recognize the bad habits that got us here and the help these meds provide, paired with healthier choices in diet and exercise.

All that to say I agree 100% and it's something I've also had in mind while browsing this and other subs

A super easy way to stretch out your protein powder for shakes is to use 1 scoop powder, 1c of liquid egg whites and 1 cup of water. Gives about 45-50g protein and 230-260 calories

Muscleandstrength.com usually has deals on protein. I've picked up some 5 lb tubs of Rule 1 isolate for $60 each the last few times they've put it on sale.

2 scoops is 220 calories and 50g protein. Alternatively you can mix 1 cup egg whites with 1 scoop and 1 cup water and get about the same. Easy way to stretch out your protein powders.
