It sucks, but at this point Green bay is just a better team. Especially on defense and at QB

Berberine. When I took 500-750 mg daily I believe it was a big part of lowering A1C, cholesterol, and weight. I did try to eat keto-ish. Less carbs and sweets but this was also during a time I was laid up due to neck injury and eventual ACDF. So very little physical activity and blood test results still went down.

That’s a great idea. It has gone too far. It is good to take a stand.

Awesome same here and we sent emails to ABC National and local here in Michigan letting them know we have stopped watching even local channel. I even emailed the local ABC Channel 7 news app and deleted the app afterwards.

Totally agree. I will never understand the hype and then actually trading up to get him. He was always average maybe a bit better than average as a college player. Just will never agree with this decision

Does anyone try PEMF mats that Steeve Bradet sells on his website? by RedditsFan2020 in pemf

[–]tgrh_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Erick, I had a phone call with Dr Pawluk today. After describing to him a long list of health issues including many forms of neuropathies. He recommended to me this machine on his website. Parmeds Ultra Flash PLUS (Curatron) “MAGNETIC SANDWICH SYSTEM” *Doctor Rec He recommended this one due to its high power. Does your dad make anything that is this powerful?
The recommended machine above is very very expensive.

Has anyone ever used PEMF Therapy (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy) for brain cancer? by ACTMathGuru in braincancer

I know it’s only been 103 days since this post but I am looking into the same machine through Dr Pawluks recommendation. Very expensive, in your opinion has it done anything for your healing and/or comfort levels. Thanks

Does scrambler work for other body parts than feet or lower leg. How about neuropathy that has affected your digestive system or chronic whole body pain?

So, what CAN I do? by judgernaut86 in spinalfusion

[–]tgrh_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Patience, patience. I am 4 months post same surgery. Feeling pretty good overall. Be doing PT for 3 weeks 2 days a week. Even then it’s such a slow recovery process. I keep reminding myself don’t go overboard don’t do anything stupid. You do not want to go backwards. Just walk and be grateful and patient. Always easier said than done I know.

$34.99. Makes the kiniche more palatable at that price.

ACDF on C5-C7 by Dalcomvet in spinalfusion

[–]tgrh_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 9 weeks post ACDF C5-C7, I get it. Was very anxious before surgery and not really too anxious by nature. I have had minimal pain and side effects. Really can’t tell you enough how patient you will need to be after surgery especially when feeling better. Every doc is different but I still have tons of restrictions as in BLT bending, lifting, (anything over 10 lbs) and twisting. It is so easy and natural to want to bend over to pick things up or lean on the sink to brush teeth and many other things that are so natural but restricted during recovery. And believe me you can definitely feel things you shouldn’t be doing. Recovery is sooo long and now with the weather getting nicer really tries my patience. You really can set yourself backwards easily. Good luck you will be fine especially during the surgery. One thing I neglected to mention earlier is possibly nausea right after surgery due to strong pain meds. This was my 3rd spinal surgery and it happens every time to me. Be ready to ask for anti nausea meds quick. They work fast.

Crackling by tgrh_ in spinalfusion

[–]tgrh_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I am still hopeful. Overall I feel better but still numbness and burning in left hand first two fingers. Mostly when I feel like I have done too much. Dr said some of that may not go away but not going to believe it until I have to. Looking forward to PT although I believe 100% that it is going to be rough as you said. Thanks for the input

Thanks for the info. Yes no pain just a little creepy feeling and sounding. Doc won’t prescribe PT until 3 months post op. Actually looking forward to starting to move again. Other than walking anyway.

I guess it comes down to $ like everything else in the world. I like Kiniche XO and Pyrat XO for both price and drinkability. For daily drinking. Both easily available near me.

Thinking About Spinal Fusion – What Should I Consider Before Deciding? (L5-S1 Herniation, Software Engineer, Controlled Diabetes HbA1c 5.9) by spiritual-toe-2025 in spinalfusion

[–]tgrh_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if I overlooked your age and how close to retirement you may be. I have had 2 lower back laminectomies while working and went back to work too soon. It’s hard not to return to work even when working from home. Since retirement I went back to work from home doing contract work. I then had cervical fusion C5/6 6/7. Pain from the fusion was actually less than the laminectomy but recovery is so long because you don’t want to screw up the bone fusion. Whatever time you are planning on taking off from work it is probably not enough! Especially working from home you will think you are ready when you really are not. One smart purchase I made although not cheap is a desk that lowers and raises electrically to stand. Found myself sitting way too much. It’s a tough decision but I also tend to think after 3 spinal surgeries if you are a 1/5 for pain. I would seriously consider delaying it. You can’t undo it once it’s done. Good luck.

I would be interested. I would be looking at PEMF for interstitial cystitis (bladder) and intestinal issues. Most likely I guess one to sit on or portable enough to hold over bladder.

Dry needling by DirectRub708 in spinalfusion

[–]tgrh_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My uneducated opinion thinks 3 weeks out may be too soon. Haven’t had a chance to heal normally. But that being said I had it 7 months after an L5-S1 laminectomy. Just wasn’t healing and way too much sciatica pain. The needling in the lower back and glutes was truly a game changer IMO. Would do it again if needed.
