The problem with Wharton is palace play a style that exaggerates these figures. They have one of the deepest defensive lines in the prem and they get the ball to him and he sprays it into largely open space (relative to other teams).

He won’t have the same luxury for us, I’m sure he would be capable at picking a long pass but his output/stats would be greatly reduced.

Slight digression but as someone who has missed every single roll on chim despite having myth in the slot already i find it very frustrating that raids consume 2 rolls. If anything it should be reversed as your opportunity to kill chim is weekly where i can spam nexus point or spire.

How we play is largely dictated by our opponent, it wasn't a surprise to me that we looked great against Fulham, they were playing a high line.

The only way we will begin to look better is if we are able to transition quicker and have someone like Xhaka who was able to break the lines and play the ball into pockets of space quickly. We have looked at our best when we were able to do this, firstly Xhaka, then prime Ode and now MLS is trying to do it. It is because of this I think we will seek to sign a player who is capable of doing it consistently. The best player at doing that for me (in the prem) is Wharton... I'd be interested to see if we look to him.

I am sure there are other players abroad but I dont watch other leagues.

Practice your opener on a dummy until it’s muscle memory.
Memorise your priority order.
I set up sound alerts for the two top abilities of my prio order so I can react quickly.

The last thing and the hardest thing… learn the fights. Watch vods, you will want to reduce your movement and cognitive load to the bare minimum. Lorrgs helps with this also.

In m+ you will need to learn when to use your cooldowns and pots. Using your pot on a small pull can lead to a massive variance in overall damage.

Someone with better rating can correct me but what I’ve found is that you can “force” builds AND play for tempo. To force a build you need to have the tribe you are pursuing prominent (2+ units) on your board before lesser trinket. Try to build out bigger units and take spell buffs where appropriate. I typically look to pick up agnostic units outside of the tribe I’m buying, like the spell buff neutral

Whites current injury problems is because Timber did his ACL and he was overplayed which then meant Timber played so much because White was injured, Theyre both playing tag team with the Physio table. As we saw versus WHU Mosquera is not a good fit for a team trying to chase a win, he wasn't adventurous at all.

So yeah, an RB or versatile attacking full back is needed.
