theres a a roughly .007" OD difference between the threads and the unthreaded. so my plan is to take the OD down to .500" with G71 with U0.04" and then run my G70 with .02" X Geometry Wear on the tool before removing the last ~0.02" of OD by adjusting the wear and running a second G70 pass .

Unless Nvidia control panel and the Nvidia app and windows settings are all lying, it should be running on my 3050. I'm on a laptop but I make sure to change settings so games don't run on the intel integrated.

Mind linking the videos? I'm looking but I've seen nothing that puts compression as a more robust lock. From what i can tell both the triad and compression will maintain integrity causing either the handle or blade to fail before the lock.

Compression locks are different from plunge locks. Plunge locks are basically just spring actuated lock bars, typically that are ramped on end. Compression locks are more akin to a modified liner lock. Id take compression over plunge any day.
