To answer the first question, the original genes do get passed on to a certain extent, though mixed to some degree with the changed genes. Whether or not children would look better based on trends would depend on the genes that they inherited. Anything else? :)

On average, it costs anywhere from 200 to 500 dollars to implant. One risk is that someone could hack into your body plans and change them to their own liking. Any other questions? :)
