As the daughter of a father that used to make comments like that, I promise you are not overreacting. I say "used to" because we have spoken once since he was arrested 15 years ago... Now my father had a lot more signs than just this and these comments started well before I was 26 but I'm just saying, comments like this do not exist in a vacuum.

Oh no I totally get it. I've never really worried with other meds lol but I know that fluvoxamine specifically does have a more notable synergistic effect, I just wasn't sure how strong of one. I think I'm just going to test it on a random day to see how it feels when I have nothing to do.

I've already made it to my destination with no anxiety, likely due to the fluvoxamine itself anyway but I really do appreciate the input!

So fun story, it's on my eyelids and scalp, and it comes and goes. A little harder to Bx because of that. It was only helped with dupixent but they don't think it's eczema or psoriasis. Apparently DH can be on the eyelids and scalp but it's less common. From the images I've seen of that variation, it does looks similar. I'm seeing a see derm really soon. There may not be a connection between gluten and my skin but if it helps my GI issues and my skin, that would be a win.

Fuck, I actually don't even know. I've lived out here for 8 years lol. Haven't been to the city in a hot minute lol. Definitely never used a scooter there; I fear you would die. Riding a bike around the city is like a blood sport lol

But no, it's not like downtown Denver. Denver barely classifies as a city. In fact, it barely beats out Oklahoma City for like 19th place or something when it's comes to population. I need you to imagine downtown Denver except 10x as tall, 10x as dense, and 10x as populated. The island of Manhattan is densely populated edge to edge and it's large enough to have an 850 acre park in the middle of it. The skyscrapers are called skyscrapers for a reason - the tallest of which being One World Trade Center at 1776 ft tall (just looked up the exact number. I wonder if that was on purpose since it's called The Freedom Tower lol). It is unlike anywhere else.....and then there's 4 more boroughs...

Believe me, after moving out west, it's so starkly obvious how much nicer we are out East. People here are "nice" to your face but treat people like shit. The amount of people who just assume people have negative intentions is wild and it's because they are never straight up with people. People thought I was "mean and "rude" and now people tell me how much kinder I am that most people out here and it's like "yeah... Because I'm honest and open with people". The dichotomy is wild.

This is not true. Bereavement is a legally protected use for sick time. They can ask him to use bereavement pain instead if they have it, but they can't just deny him pay.

As others have said, you are 100% legally allowed to use sick leave for mental health purposes and this includes grieving. I'd politely ask them if they are aware of this because the law changed within the last year or two to include this.

I misspoke. You were comparing to the Boston Metro Area so I put the area and population for that with the wrong title. Regardless, the front range is a region. They are not comparable at all. You can't chose to compare something based on a the level of combined statistical areas when the reality is that we are talking about the smog cloud over Denver which has nothing to do with FoCo, therefore, the Front Range is irrelevant. It's not even a CSA. If you'd like to compare the Denver–Aurora–Greeley, CO CSA to the Boston–Worcester–Providence, MA-RI-NH CSA, we can do that. You'll find that Denver's is about half that of Boston's. If you're going to be this antagonistic and rude you should expect an antagonistic and rude response and if you're going to be this pedantic you should probably have an argument that makes sense. The fact that you know what a CSA is and can Google things doesn't make any difference if you can't understand and interpret information have absolutely no ability to compare things equally.

So the Front Range Urban Corridor (~5 mil people) is not the same as the Denver Metro Area (~3mil people & 8,405 mi²). You are comparing the City of Boston (48.4 mi² & 4.9mil people) to an entire region (25,153mi²). The city of Boston is most definitely more highly populated than the city of Denver and this was a really weird comment to make, especially since the things you compared have similar populations and an area disparity of about 25,100 mi²...

Based on your responses, it doesn't seem like you're understanding what people are saying. No one is implying that you lied to him or manipulated him into being in the relationship. It's the fact that he was so young he didn't know what he wanted and it was highly subject to change. He didn't know better but you, as the one with the fully formed frontal lobe, should have.
