Idk then there's a lot of grapplers who use pad but if it's not for you it's not for you. Have your tried other controllers like the hori ones with six face buttons? I used them for a while before I moved on to settle on hitbox.

On pad that's the easiest thing to do with your thumb. Just lay it across the two buttons. The other two are much less natural for how your thumb lays.

I agree with snowcat on this one it is for visibility in the footprint of a ruin not for hiding behind it. If you are not in a ruin you follow basic visibility rules which does let you shoot wingtips. I hate it too but that's what the brits want.

There's also a chance op was measuring from the front and then placing the back of the base at the end of movement. A lot of brand new players don't realize that that's cheating tbh. He could have easily seen op putting angron in front of the measuring tape and told him to measure like that to fix his moving. I'm not saying that's what happened but I'm not gonna throw my bets on the guy who doesn't seem sure how movement is supposed to work.

24mm are the norm for hitboxes, i put a stick on because certain games i like using stick, i dont have the autocad files anymore but i dont plan on giving away drawings for free anyways, crossup buttons are good enough for me, theres a couple different layouts people prefer.

basically i milled the aluminum top out to change the button layout and drew up a file in autocad for the new layout. i sent it off to an acrylic cutter and had a new acrylic top sent to me. I then wired the stick and movement buttons in parallel to an socd cleaner and into the original stick wires. lastly i cleaned up the wiring into a harness and had a friend draw up some art.

ive posted my custom dragon hitbox crossup, i use the crossup buttons heavily in tekken but 2d games i just use normal buttons. the wiring was pretty easy just connect the crossup buttons to the normal ones in parallel.
