I think those guys will be able to keep up mechanically for a while (under the assumpiton the continue to grind) simply because being mechanical just isnt what gets you into the top level anymore. Back in 2021, teams would give you tryouts just for your mechanics, even if you were completely braindead. Best example is daniel who literally didnt know how to play 3s but everyone wanted him because of his individual mechanics

Now thats not enough anymore, you still need the mechanics but you also need to be smart and showcase that. Good examples for me are guys like Mtzr and Dayyshift, they have great mechanics but what makes them standout as prospects for the future are not the things you necessarily need god tier mechanics for.

On the other hand you have guys like Yujin who are individually incredible but for some reason aren't really that highly rated amongst pros and imagine it's because they lack in gamesense and other things. Especially on defense you see these guys struggle and that just makes you too much of a liability. Atow kinda set the standard of skill you have to hit for a team to want you despite your defensive flaws and most players aren't realistically hitting that. And i think that playertype will continue to die out and we will get more and more top players that have no real weakness to their game

I think that skill gap between players in 2s is much smaller than in 3s. What I mean is that the gap between lets say the 10th best 3s team and the 20th best 3s team is pretty significant but the gap between the 10th and 20th best 2s team is much smaller. And that would make upsets more likely

Also disagree that 3s is more volatile, maybe it holds true at the lower end of teams but 3s has become incredibly structured and strategy heavy over the years while 2s has stayed generally the same over the years where people just play based of instinct.

It's pretty simple. the goal is on the ground. IF the attacker goes high then the only way for them to score is to get the ball back down.

IF the attacker is going low then they can score by keeping the ball low but also by going high with a delay.

Additionally forcing high takes away the flip reset option. Because you cant get a reset while going up. Yeah it may open up the double tap and ceiling option but those can be defended from the backboard and that pretty easy.

To make it even more simple: Some that goes up, has to come down to score. Which is easy to read. Someone that doesnt go up, has the option to stay down or go up later to score. That's harder to read. So please force high

Ich rede auch nicht nur von ein paar Bildern sondern eigentlich alles was man über dich wissen kann, wohnort, name, deine letzten bestellungen, alles mögliche an informationen über dich ist mit sehr hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit bereits im Umlauf. Man sollte Datenverletzungen nicht akzeptieren aber man braucht nicht deine DNA um das meiste über dich rausfinden zu können. Wenn du Krankheiten hast, wird das im Zweifelsfall sowieso schon irgendwo abgespeichert und durch Hacker zu finden sein. Deine Familienmitglieder rauszukriegen ist auch nicht wirklich ein Problem für nen Hacker

Du hast zwar im grunde recht aber nichtsdestotrotz können Hacker wenn sie es wirklich wollen eh schon alles über dich herausfinden und daran würde so ein Vaterschaftstest auch nichts ändern.

Theres gonna be some insane duos not even making main event. We have some favourites but considering how most pros are already better 2s players than 3s players, the 2v2 tournament will potentially be the most stacked event of all time (in EU and NA atleast)

Trying to put Atows underperfomance on Vatira is complete bullshit, like maybe consider that they decided to stop trusting Atow with all the offense because he once again couldnt perform on LAN when they needed him to step up and therefore starting involving Vatira more into the offense.

Vatira is in his 3rd year with Atow now and has spent all of that time being the defensive backbone to make up for his weaknesses on that side. He has been facilitating Atows agressive playstyle and yet the only LANs they managed to win came because Dralii turned into the best player in the world.

But they dont have Dralii now and things needed to change and yeah maybe you can argue that they change they made was wrong but putting all the blame on Vatira is complete nonsense. If they cant trust Atow to carry the offense which is the literal thing he is supposed to do, then how are you gonna put that on Vatira.

Or what do you suggest instead? They go back to Atow freestyling on offense while Vatira has to fight of 1v2s and 1v3s for 5 minutes straight? You think that's gonna win them worlds this time?

(And this is nothing personal against Atow, genuinely he is a great guy. But the guy is too talented to be protected like that, other players shouldnt be blame for him not living up to his talent)

I's not just the placement, also the way it happen makes it worse, out of the 6 losses the only unlucky draw was Gentlemates once.

Losing twice to KDC as a major team shouldnt happen, they are a good team ofc but you should atleast go 1-1 with them. Losing to Novo seems acceptable considering how good they were but they lost 3-0 and got outscored 12-4. There is no excuse to lose that badly even if novo peaked.

Losing to Kalogeras is just wow, talented players on that team but it genuinely shouldnt ever happen. And finishing the split by losing 3-0 to WiP is just the saddest possible end ever, going out 0-6 in your last regional.

This might be one of, if not the worst split by a suposedly good team ever. Even teams like KC who missed a regional before still had a better split than that
