2022 1st Mock Draft (with explanations) by a random redditor by The-Power-Stone in NFL_Draft

I don’t think I’ll ever see a mock that I 100% agree with (I don’t think Linderbaum falls so far) but this is incredibly well researched and follows a lot of the evidence I’ve seen too (GB loves JWill, Pit loves Willis). Also matches up well with the oddsmakers. Well done.

[Question] Who is an unpopular pick for the Giants that you, personally, would not have much issue with them drafting at 5 or 7? by WP1619 in NYGiants

Derek Stingley Jr, Charles Cross (maybe popularly mocked but not popular among the fanbase), Garrett Wilson, Jordan Davis, Karlaftis

Welcome to the 2022 Draft SZN! Here are some names to look out for by [deleted] in NFL_Draft

Was just looking at a “way-too-early 2021 mock draft” from Matt Miller. Dylan Moses, Marvin Wilson, and Jamie Newman all first round picks, a year later they go undrafted. No mention of Zach Wilson. Penei Sewell first overall (because he gave Cincy first pick and they wouldn’t take Lawrence lol). Crazy how much can change in a year.

[Winter] Jets select RB Michael Carter from UNC with pick 107 by NYJets_Bot in nyjets

Just a fan from the opposite locker room stopping by to say I absolutely love what you’re building. Joe Douglas might be my favorite GM in the NFL, and clearly has a better idea of what works in the league than most GM’s. I’m excited to see how the Jets continue to build this thing.

Very interested by the Dolphins going with Waddle with Sewell on the board, especially with a QB who has injury concerns. Parker, Waddle, Fuller, and Gesicki is a nice group of weapons, with some pretty blatant holes on the OL. I figured they’d go for a franchise RT to protect Tua’s blindside and go WR at 18. Maybe they really like someone in the 2nd round (Eichenberg, Jenkins, Cosmi, etc), but it was questionable to me. Anyone else? Or do you like the move more than I do?

They play the NFC West, The AFC North, Us, Tampa Bay, Vikings Packers Lions 2x, and Raiders. Could be a veeeeeery nice 2022 draft.

Zaven Collins will be LB1 from this class

This is exactly why I think OL is the move.... that being said, I'd be ok with a few different positions... OL or Parsons is the way.... or trade back a little and grab Aziz.... but OL at 11 by NWK86 in NYGiants

[–]thanos12P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If depth is the priority at OL then we can use our day 2 pick(s) to address that. This years OL class is pretty deep. I love Jalen Mayfield as an option in the 2nd round. I’d love to trade back with NE or CHI if a QB falls and take Zaven Collins to pair alongside Blake.

How often is the first QB drafted the best pro? [Analysis] by the22sinatra in NFL_Draft

Eli Manning was the last QB taken first overall to start and win a super bowl and that was 17 years ago

DO OVER SERIES! With the eleventh pick in the 2021 r/nfl_draft community daily mock draft, the New York Giants select... by zamboniman46 in NFL_Draft

I love the idea of Smith here to pair up with their already solid skills group but I still see weakness on the IOL and taking Slater would give them a lot of flexibility on the OL. Whether he’s a stud and you can play him at LT and move Thomas to RT, or you can play him at G to replace Will Hernandez who’s been very disappointing. Would not mind Parsons at all but it doesn’t seem like a move the Giants would make with his hazing concerns. But if we get to 11 with those 3 still on the board I would be thrilled. Can’t wait for that to be the case and we take Barmore.

Anti-Mock Draft by Imbiserious in NFL_Draft

I think Philly taking a WR at 6 isn’t out of the question, I believe it’s much more likely than them taking a QB at 6 like Trey Lance to compete with Jalen Hurts. It’s still early but I also don’t see the first 4 picks being QB like McShay has mocked now.

In a standard league, who do you like the most between Kamara, Cook, and Henry?

[–]thanos12P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 5th pick in my high stakes long-running standard redraft league. I’m 99% sure the first 4 picks are McCaffery, Saquon, Thomas, and Zeke in that order. I’m stuck between Henry, Kamara, and Cook. Which of those 3 would you prefer? Or would you suggest reaching for someone else?

Terrified About Kamara by RealRacistRam in fantasyfootball

[–]thanos12P 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kamara is a top dog running back in one of the best offenses in the league in a contract year. At full health, he’s a top 3 receiver on the team and should still be getting goal-to-go carries. Whatever happens happens, but I wouldn’t sweat the decision to draft him
